  • Great Scooter, Needs instructions for Bluetooth
Style: Electric 19MPH
The media could not be loaded. *Update 9/14/2023** After a lot of back and forth with customer service I finally got an answer that worked in regards to get the app working with the scooter. If you've been struggling to connect the app to your scooter you are going to need to factory reset your scooter. Be advised that doing so will also reset the odometer so if you care about that I'd record it somewhere before proceeding. I've attached the video customer service sent showing how to reset the scooter, but it is all in a language I can't understand so to help I'll include written instructions below. 1. Turn on the scooter 2. Simultaneously hold the right brake, the throttle, and the power button. The scooter will beep and the display will change and show 0000. 3. Next you are going to input the code 7410. Pressing the throttle will increase the number, the brake will decrease. Pressing the power button briefly will move the cursor. 4. When you've finished inputting 7410, press and hold the power button until the scooter beeps and the display begins to flash. Let the scooter do it's thing and it'll eventually return to the standard display. 5. Open up the Tuya app on your phone and click the plus sign in the upper right corner to add a device. The scooter should pop right up. If it doesn't you may need to turn the scooter off then on again. So far the app has been pretty handy. It helps a lot in changing settings quickly rather than having to press the power button a certain amount of times to change stuff. It also allows you to get an estimated range on the scooter which is the primary reason I wanted the app to work. I'm pretty happy now, so I'm bumping the star rating to 5 stars. It took a while but eventually customer service was helpful, so I appreciate the effort they made in looking into the issue. *Update 8/23/2023** I've had the scooter for a week now and still cannot figure out how to turn on Bluetooth so I can connect to the app. I've reached out to customer service, asked questions on Amazon, researched all over Google and can't find anything. So far all the responses from the manufacturer are just copied and pasted instructions from random products that most definitely aren't this scooter. I love the scooter, but am super annoyed by the lack of proper help from Pyle. Dropping the star rating on this until I can get a proper answer on how to set up the Bluetooth features. 8/14/2023 Just got this scooter and so far I'm pretty happy with it. It looks amazing and it feels great. It is pretty fast and a smooth ride. As a 6 ft 2 in and 275 lbs man I needed a scooter that would be able to handle my size and so far I'm pretty impressed. It seems pretty sturdy and I was able to get it up to 20 mph on flat terrain pretty quickly. I've only taken it for short rides on flat ground so far, so I don't really know how well it'll handle hills and what kind of range it has. I'll be sure to update my review as time goes on. ... show more

  • A Solid Scooter for Tall and Heavy Riders
Style: Electric 19MPH
The media could not be loaded. I needed a scooter that could accommodate my height and carry my weight because I didn't feel like walking anymore. I’m 5'11" and 265 lbs (all muscle!), and I wear a backpack with about 10 lbs of stuff in it. This scooter had no problem reaching 9 mph in eco mode and 20 mph in sports mode, and it maintained the eco mode speed while climbing small hills. When the scooter arrived via UPS, it had about 45% battery. I took it for an immediate test run because I couldn’t wait to charge it. Electric vehicles have a lot of torque (I’ve noticed this in Teslas as well), so prepare to get pulled back a bit when taking off; the throttle doesn’t have a wide range of gradation. On day two, I rode the scooter to work after fully charging it overnight. The trip one way is about 2.7 miles. I kept it in eco mode the entire time and had 81% battery remaining upon arrival. For my weight class, I can probably get a maximum travel range of about 14 miles. Regarding negatives and complaints in other reviews, thankfully, I didn’t have issues connecting the app. The app features an option for “fault detection,” but it wouldn’t complete. The LCD display shows an error indicator when I squeeze the brakes; the brakes operate fine otherwise, but I do occasionally hear a slight scratching sound from the rear wheel. Lastly, it took some trial and error to find a comfortable position to fit my size 13 shoes on the relatively small foot deck. On the positive side, I admire the heft of this scooter and the 11-inch tires; it feels like a serious vehicle. The app has controls for the security lock, headlights, cruise control, and start modes (zero start or non/kick start). I absolutely love the cruise control feature. Coasting at 9 mph, equivalent to a very fast running speed, while listening to music and not having to grip the handlebars too tightly was a pleasant experience. This likely marks the start of an e-scooter addiction. I want more. UPDATE — 2024.07.21: After 188 mi (302 km), the scooter no longer charges and displays an error when turned on. See video. I was really rooting for this scooter. ... show more

  • Good scooter choice for large adults
Style: Electric 19MPH
Scooter is very fun. Will go 20mph and battery is adequate for my use, although more distance would be nice. Brakes work well. Scooter is very sturdy and suspension works well even for this 300lbs rider. It is heavy, but not unexpectedly so given its ability. Great for getting around urban areas. I also take it camping to get around campgrounds and can handle gravel roads. I’ve had it about a year and it had performed well so far. Good value for the money. ... show more
