I only use the fan on it’s lowest setting because this thing is powerful. It has all the features that I was looking for in a simple fan. Easy assemble, remote, rotates, heavy duty, and multiple fan speeds, not loud. The only con that I personally have is that the remote holder is too lose to stick on the fan but it’s such a minuscule issue compared to the pros. This fan is no joke! The lowest setting produced more wind than the highest setting on my last fan. On the highest this thing blew my drink over! It was pretty easy to put together if you looked at the directions and didn’t try to assume you knew better… It’s very stable, my little dog clotheslined himself super hard, knocking him off his feet (it was really funny, he was not harmed I promise), and the fan barely wobbled. The length of the cord was one negative for me, it’s about four feet but most of that is used going up the stand to where it connects to the motor. So you really only have one to one and a half feet of cord if you want it to lie on the ground. (To avoid taking out dogs and small children). Not sure I’d really use them but, the remote and holder are a nice bonus, as are the timer options. For the most part this fan is shockingly quiet. Yes, you can definitely hear the wind being forced out, there’s no way to avoid it. But there are no super duper annoying clicks, ticks, squeaks, or creaks that are fairly common with the affordable fans. There is however an extremely high or low pitched hum on the lowest setting. I’m not sure which. Half of my family can hear it the other half can’t. So it’s not necessarily a negative since you can ignore it, I just want everyone to be forewarned. Overall I’d absolutely buy it again when I need another. ... show more

My son is symbol the fan for me when it came so I don't know much about how difficult it was to assemble I recall a few swear words not an overabundance though. The fan remote it was difficult for me to learn to operate but I did catch on to it. Now I have lost the remote and sent the question of if it can be replaced I do hope it can be. I have had this fan for several months now and I'm very satisfied with it ... show more

Have bought 2 other pedestal fans from other companies over the past year. This one's wind is significantly stronger than the others. One of the others I couldn't even feel on my couch at all at high and I can easily feel this one on low. The motor is almost as quiet as one that was 50% more expensive claiming to be a quiet motor. I'm getting Hurricane's only from now on. Only downside is the remote does not control the oscillation. ... show more

I just tried for the first time for mg upstairs last night. 76+ degrees and I set it next to the window to draw in cool air. It is quiet and powerful. Look no further. This is a great product. Very high quality. Assembly is quick and easy. The blade protector is metal, not plastic. The base is very heavy and not cheap plastic. Will not tip over. Fully adjustable height. Can tilt the head both up and down. It will also oscillate. This fan is close to Industrial quality. It moves a lot of air, even on the lowest setting. The remote is a great feature. And it's fairly quiet for how powerful it is. I'd buy it again ... show more

PROS: 1. Easy to put together using the instructions which are totally picture based (thank you!) 2. The remote works very well from across a master bedroom. 3. Has a timer for 1, 2 and 4 hours (doubt I'll use this though) 4. Oscillates. 5. Three speeds. 6. Doesn't wobble/rattle with a very smooth consistent sound. 7. Stands taller than you think, with the top of the fan at about 4 feet. CONS: Nothing yet. Only used it for like a week, so we'll see how it holds up long term, but so far a great fan we use simply to lull us to sleep with white noise. ... show more
