Very nice looking faux book safe, but the safe itself is only 6.75X4.25”, so if you’re buying this to conceal something specific, make sure you’re not relying on the book size to be even close to the size of the book itself. I bought this for my god daughter to lock her 7x5 journal in, but this safe is better suited for smaller items like a watch, phone, glasses etc. I took a star off because the size of the safe itself is not included in the description, which is kind of a big deal for this item

Who doesn't want a book with a hidden compartment? This is great for hiding things in plain sight. I have a lot of books at home and my husband couldn't even find this on our bookshelves right after I showed it to him, so it blends well with everything. I keep important papers in it, like our passports, birth certificates, social security cards, and covid cards...all the stuff you can never find when you need it lol. If the house is on fire and I can only grab one thing on my way out of the door, this is it. I wish I had paid better attention when I was ordering and gotten the one with the combination lock instead of the keys, but that was my fault not theirs. This was absolutely worth the money for keeping things safe and also for the cool factor of having a book with a hidden compartment. Next on the wish list, a bookcase that's also a door to a hidden room!

I absolutely love this little book safe, I use it daily and even travel with it from time to time. It’s sturdy, well made, the pages feel real, the magnet that holds the top down work well so it doesn’t just open and close whenever, there isn’t a ton of room Inside however the lock takes up some room on the inside and limits how long things can be that your putting inside. That would be my only complaint if I had to have one. Overall tho I super happy with this. It’s not super obvious I’m packing around a little safe it really looks like a book. And knowing me it also totally looks like something I would be reading!! I have recommended this to friends once I show them what it really is they are shocked that it’s not really a book! 10/10 would Recommend! Oh key and lock feel pretty sturdy I don’t feel that it’s gonna come right out of the book thingy it’s in there well. And lock seems pretty ok also I mean it’s a cheap book safe so it’s not like the bestest lock but I feel it couldn’t be broken or picked very easily. Still totally can but it would take a few min to pick it lol… hummm I think that’s it! It’s kinda heavy not super light and flimsy but not crazy heavy either. Yep I think I covered it All!!! 🤡

Arrived but key is locked inside safe so there is no means to open and use unless I break it open. It looks real enough if with other books on shelf except the safe is on front page and although seller does state in other posts doesn’t work if pages are in front, the safe isn’t 100% flat so if book isn’t in between others it has small gap between the cover binder and safe itself. I still decided I want it though until I find better overall it’s worth buying for quick hideaway in plain sight. I simply requested a replacement of same item with no need to to contact seller directly and will send the locked one back.
