I tried at least 30 chairs to find the right fit and adjustments that worked, this has a plethora of flexible settings. The Human Touch Gravis ZG is the most expensive piece of furniture, BY FAR , that I've ever made. But it is also one of the few pieces of furniture that has reliably helped to dissipate some of the back pain. If you're suffering from back pain ZERO G ftW!!! whether it's the Gravis or any other Zero G, HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! (NOT medical advice) I bought the bone leather pad with the Beachwood frame, the chair is absolutely beautiful imho and adds to our living space instead of some hideous pod in the middle of our living room. Fairly easy and fast to assemble, once you get it uncrated, I would say a level 2-4 out of a10, skip the stupid (1) TIME USE BATTERY backup, Unless of course you need help to be able to go to a full sitting position if the power goes out. I have been living in this chair for the last year, including sleeping in it every night. (Sleep at LAST) Before this purchase I was in a zero gravity lawn chair which actually worked with a comforter thrown over it and a medium foam lumbar support, after 3 months that solution seemed kind of ridiculous. A few weeks ago I wrote a negative review of the Gravis ZG chair on the Human Touch website. However, Human Touch has not published my review I suppose because it was very negative. The chair is very uncomfortable and, IMO, very poorly designed. The leg part does not go completely horizontal so your legs are always in an awkward position. The chair back has a very odd curve that aggravated my back. Initially I thought my body needed to adjust to the chair but it is the chair design that is poor and nothing to do with my body. The arms have very little padding and are uncomfortable. There are various other issues with the chair but I think this review provides ample critique. I thought I had 90 days to return the chair so on the 40th day I contacted human touch and explained how the chair was exasperating my chronic back pain. I was informed that the return period was only 30 days, no exceptions - okay, my mistake as I should have read the documentation closely. Unfortunately the closest store was too far away for me to manage the drive with my chronic back pain so I had no opportunity to try out the chair although I don't think 10 or 15 minutes sitting in the chair would have enabled me to make an informed decision. Consequently, I purchased the chair from Human Touch on-line after multiple communications with a sales rep wherein I communicated my chronic back pain (I'm a 100% disabled veteran and I am fused C2-C5 and L2-S1 and I have an intrathecal pump that constantly pumps dilaudid into my spinal column). Based on the communications with the Human Touch sales rep and his glowing recommendations, I purchased the chair. I have learned a very expensive lesson to never ever purchase a chair on the internet.
