I wanted a real leather executive for my home office, and this was the best price. Actually, the fact that I had to assemble it myself was a plus, as I never could have lifted the whole chair up to the second floor, so I took it up in parts. Delivery was good and on time. It arrived in good shape, except for two small issues. One of the rubber grommets on a chair leg had a partial tear, which I tried to protect from further ripping with Gorilla Tape. Unfortunately, that made the part too think to fit right, so I ended up trimming it with my jigsaw and drilling two new screw holes. In the end is was snug and fit in. (In retrospect, since the grommet is mostly a cushion space, I didn't need to correct for the tear as the metal part would have held it in place anyway.) The second issue was that the rocker bar's rubber/plastic part that keeps the bar from slipping out altogether was out of position, so I couldn't rock at all. I had to flip the chair over and tug it a bit to pop it back into place. Now the chair works fine. With all that, it probably took me twice as long to assemble as it should have. At least all the parts were there, and except for the small grommet problem, all of them worked well. You will need a regular-sized Phillips screwdriver, as the small one they supplied is inadequate. All the other supplied tools worked fine. The chair itself is very nice and very adjustable. With the back set for recline and the rocker on, you can go as far back as a Lazy Boy lounger. Now I wish I had a small leather ottoman to go along with it, so I can snooze in my office. I am 75 years old, 5"7" and 210 pounds. A person a little taller than me and a shade wider can fit comfortably, but it is not a big man's chair. I'll report again if I have any troubles later, but for now, this was a good purchase. Many pre-assembled items don't work as well.

Installation is no problem by following the instructions. Initially have problem installing the hydraulic cylinder, see photo. But, once you moved the upper part of the chair, you could connect the cylinder easily. All the tools for the installation were in the box. Chair is solid, comfortable and well made. If you don’t abuse the chair, it should last many many years. As with any pure leather chair, a sample of the leather was enclosed in the box.

I rarely write reviews on the purchases I make unless I feel that a review is warranted. I have used the chair for almost 2 months and I have been having a hard time in distinguishing the difference between it and the one I picked up at Walmart for $89 which lasted for 5 years until its PU leather started flaking on the arms support . It feels very low when sitting on it and my legs get numb even though I am just 5"9 190 lbs. The height adjustment does not seem to go up to any comfort height zone. The height level goes so low occasionally to a point of feeling like you are almost sitting on the floor and have to use height adjustment to bring it up to its maximum height which is still way too low for comfort level. I used the instructions that were provided and assembling parts that were included and I am pretty sure I did not miss any step in its assembly. I still believe it has genuine leather which was an incentive in forking out almost $500 but if its comfort level is not satisfactory then I do not think it is worth that kind of money

First and foremost: I love this chair! I have never spent more than $250 on an office chair and now I see why people do. The quality is clearly better than any other office chair I've owned. I love the feel and smell of the genuine leather. The wheels roll smoothly. So far this has been a great purchase. I would warn potential buyers of one thing- this chair is VERY loud to sit in because every time you move, the leather moves against itself in the weird shielded area under the arm rests, making nearly constant noise. I've tried stuffing both cotton shirts and microfiber cloths in-between the seat bottom and the shields under the arm rests and it only helps a little. The chair still "farts" constantly.

Took less than 30 minutes to assemble. Packages very well and the box showed no signs of any damage incurred in shipping. As the chair assembled neatly and efficiently it was apparent that there was no damage incurred through shipping. The real leather feels very comfortable, I am hoping for the genuine leather to last a lot longer than the PU Leather on my last desk chair, as the PU leather has all but peeled off the poly urethane backing material of my original desk chair. The chair says it supports 360 lbs of applied weight, but in reality I think it probably could support more based on the solid construction of the base and the wheels. I used the single track poly urethane wheels as they are for softer surfaces like my carpet, and the souble sided wheels are for solid floor materials.

I decided to replace my old desk chair, upgrading it from an old one that was losing the bonded leather covering. I picked the HUAUR chair because of its looks and features. It arrived in a box, well packaged but with a set of picture instructions that were not all that helpful. Luckily, I found a video in the on-line product description and used it to guide the assembly. The first problem I ran into was in the assembly of the base. The threads in the base were poorly cut such that getting the screws to catch without cross threading was very difficult. The connection of the base plate to the seat is also flimsy. It is puzzling why the manufacturers decided to skimp on the construction details. Better manufacturing of the base, a piece of metal on the underside of the seat, and a few washers would have made all the difference.
