They had various higher-end brand NVMe SSDs, (2) 8GB memory SODIMMs installed, an external 600M AC WiFi/Bluetooth dongle and even had the additional HDD carrier installed (optional when new). The seller showed one refurbisher on the listing, but the paperwork shipped showed the box of 3 came from a different refurbisher (refurbninja.com) - all 3 units were identical & were immediately upgraded to Win11-24H2, 2nd SSD installed & functioning flawlessly. Fantastic little office box. Used it to host a server, and it has not given me any trouble. This product is NOT windows 11 capable, but I don't need it to be. Very little power draw, and I upgraded the RAM with no issues.

There's a cute little placard inside the box proclaiming "Amazon Refurbished". My advice: be more cautious with your advertising, or be more thorough with your work. My unit was packed very securely and delivered without damage to the box, making it very unlikely that a securely attached metal screw could have unscrewed itself while in transit. Yet, when I released the unit from all the tape and cardboard and tightly wrapped plastic, I noticed a disturbing rattling sound that turned out to be a loose screw inside the chassis -- which, by the way, is full of electronic components with exposed metal connection. Not the place you want to find a loose bit of metal. If there is a quality control department associated with "Amazon Refurbished", please, do better. ... show more

Got this bad boy because I wanted something more powerful to replace my raspberry pi4. I'd always recommend this for mini servers and even home/office use. Just make sure to get at least 16Gb of ram. you'll definitely notice the difference. 10/10 for being compact, cheap, low noise levels and overall modern (USB C port and supports Nvme drives) ... show more

BEWARE The product we received was not properly refurbished. 1: The "Display Port" ports feel like they are going to break off of the board. When we inserted the connector, both of the display ports felt extremely flimsy, as if they had been bent several times. 2: When we booted up the workstation, it booted straight to the desktop. It should have booted to a Windows Setup Prompt. 3: We opened the shell to install an M2 drive. There was dust, dirt, and dust balls inside the enclosure. We had to use compressed air to clean it out. 4: The SSD carriage was not even screwed to the enclosure properly. It was rattling around inside, and missing several screws. The two screws it did have were not even fastened properly. 5: The SSD carriage had a metal plate that did not even go with this device. It had one tiny screw holding it onto the chassis. The screw holes on it did not align with the chassis or mainboard. 6: The Windows serial number was nowhere on any sticker on the device. 7: It is NOT 4K, but the listing says it is. 8: The item we received also was NOT WiFi, and it did not come with a WiFi dongle. The bottom line is that we received an HP ProDesk 600 G3 that was not properly refurbished, and not as described in the listing. We will update this review, if anymore issues come up. ... show more
