I have worked in software development for years and have tried for hours to get their customer support to listen and replace this thing, but alas, I am stuck with a machine that will work for a few weeks before it needs another format/factory reset. The computer has had critical solid state drive failures repeatedly after around 6 months of ownership. After dozens of phone calls with HP customer service, maybe 20 hours spent formatting and reinstalling windows, recovering the computer using 2 different boot drives from HP, roughly 1-2 weeks later it still boot loops to a blue screen and will not function. This one is clearly a lemon but their customer service has been so abysmal and has wasted so much of my time that I will never purchase another HP product for the rest of my life. UPDATE*** HP refuses to update the warranty and has been the worst company I have ever worked with. I just got off the phone with them with a now critical SSD failure, the computer will no longer boot. I now have a brick that is in warranty with no recourse. ... show more
