  • DO NOT BUY! STAY AWAY!
I bought this laptop exactly 1 year to the month ago. It had everything that I was looking for in a laptop. I was so excited! Now I wish I had never purchased it. I barely use this laptop. Maybe three(3) days a week max! (It only being for personal use.) I mostly use a different laptop for business purposes. Now, it's experiencing hardware failures. The screen only comes on when I plug in my external monitor. I called tech support - they deleted, rebooted, installed and updated everything over and over again. Passed from one technician to the next for three(3) hours. The conclusion: "hardware failure, and that I need to send my laptop in for repair." I truly regret purchasing this laptop. Save yourself the hassle. Go to a reputable store/company. It may cost a little more but, it comes with peace of mind. ... show more

  • Expensive black screen
At random times it shuts down and i have to restart. Its taught me to work on the cloud otherwise i lose unsaved work. I never usually spend more than 1k on laptops and dont expect them to last long. This one has lasted less, even after spending more.

  • Great Laptop, not sure why it's getting a bad rap🤷🏻♂️
I use this laptop for work specifcally for content creation. I push this laptop to it's limits with multiple web browsers with YouTube/music playing in the background and tabs open while AT THE SAME TIME use Adobe Premiere Pro video editing, a timer, and a VPN running. Sometimes I'll even have Photoshop up and use Discord MidJourney running to if the workload is light. Let's just say I got a bunch of programs running for content creation, not only for my own stuff but for clients as well. The laptop for the costs can handle a lot. The video edits I do tend to be on the higher quality end of video editing minus using a lot of Adobe After Effects. For basic to intermediate video editing, and intermediate to advanced Photoshopping with multiple tabs open, then this is the machine for you. I also have 2 monitors hooked with a 4k monitor and an portable external 19in monitor with 2 plugged in external harddrives, mouse, and keyboard. Laptop keyboard is also nice even though I rarely use it. The laptop is also lightweight and can easily be moved and used for traveling. I use these little laptop raisers to life the laptop so it can properly ventilate since I push the laptop hard. Over 2 years now. Now onto the bad. One of the reviews says the laptop crashes which I agree with. When pushing with the advanced tools and and applying multiple filters especially in Photoshop, the laptop will be prone to crashes. So use cloud services and generously save your work as much as you can. Adobe Premiere Pro will start to lag if there's a lot of footage and effects added in the project. I edit mainly 1080p videos. The GPU can only handle so much and is actually imo the biggest weakness to this laptop. Adobe After Effects is a big big weak point. You can handle light work in After Effects and some intermediate workloads only if you close all browsers and any other energy consuming programs like cloud services otherwise it will be prone to crashing. The crash that happens is the screen blacks out with the machine still running where you have to physically push the power off button. If you are doing creative work for clients where it's not high end graphics, you can get away with A LOT of work types. On a scale of 1-10 with the videos I make with effects and such, it's at a 7/10+ of quality for YouTube. So basic podcast editing with light effects, and transitions, overlays, sfx, and b-roll, you will be good to go. Now this laptop is over 2 years old. If your content and your client's content doesn't require a lot of flashy editing, then this laptop is a worthwhile investment as for myself, it has paid dividends since standing in for my desktop editing beast when I'm on the road. Hope that helps! ... show more
