Works ok...prints nice. A real manual might have been noce. Seems to get lost on wifi after not being used in a couple days, but a quick unplug and restart hooks it right back up. Bought it only to work with wife's big HP touch screen...DON'T DOWNLOAD THE HP PRINTER APP unless you're young or like pain, instead go for the alternate setup and actually have control like we remember...and no one tells you to buy ink all the time!

Used it 1 time via wifi, then it stopped connecting. Have used 1 time blue tooth with phone since will not connect to wifi. Now 4 months later it still will not print, now not even printing ink on test page......waste of money! Never have had these problems with other printer that was good for 5years.

First let me start by saying that I purchased this printer "new" and when the first one came it was used. So much so that there was a water bottle cap lodged in the inside. When I finally received the new printer I originally purchased I set it up, which was the only easy thing about this printer. It NEVER stays connected to the internet and I have printed maybe 20 pages in the 9 months I've owned it. Now I'm out the money for the printer and I have a huge stupid paper weight on my desk. So freaking useless! I'm so frustrated with this machine. The WORST purchase I have ever made hands down. DO NOT BUY this piece of junk!!! URGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received today. This is a personal printer not for work. Appears "new" but the box had been previously opened and manual was missing (not cool) However, having just gone through the process with a work printer, I knew to get the HP Smart "app" My computer (Desktop) couldn't "find" the device (2700 Series) and I was unable to "bluetooth" connect. So I plugged in the USB cord from old printer. Type "printer" in the microsoft search bar and after it attempts to find the printer and fails, it will give you the option to upload HP Smart. (or google HP Smart) Don't be afraid of the app and just say "no" to adding the ink stuff. I priced the cartridges before purchase and they are nominal... Don't mess with their "deal" (we all know how to say "no") Once down loaded, it will walk you through the rest of the process. Have tested print and scan. Both work so far. Will attempt to Blue tooth again later and will update here with the results.

I was in need of a new printer. The one I had for about five years quit working. It was a great printer! Searching for a new printer was challenging. I needed one that worked with HP Instant Ink service, I needed one that was not black or dark colored (I am visually impaired), and I didn't want to spend more than 100 dollars. This printer fit the bill! I was only a little hesitant about getting one that was refurbished. Printers are such fickle machines. You really have to be tech savvy and have a whole lot of patience when troubleshooting printers. They can be a pain. I bought this printer with a whole lot of faith! I will be honest, this printer put me to work. But you know what? I would do it again! It is working like a charm! I do not have any regrets! Refurbish printers is the way to go! I am one satisfied customer!

I replaced a 300-series HP deskjet with this one. It was easy to download the HP Smart app to my Dell desktop computer (required). It took two tries to find the printer. Connecting to my wifi was simple; I just followed the steps on the screen. I was printing within 15-20 minutes. I was able to scan from the app as well as my Dell scan app. The copy made while aligning the scanner looks as expected for a deskjet.

You cannot set this up with a mobile device, which is all I have and exactly why I bought the stupid thing. Now I need an ethernet adapter for my phone and I have to log it in to someone else's house. I'm no tech expert, obviously. Why can't they make it actually MOBILE friendly?
