Things to know: 1. The computer arrived FAST (like, within 4 days) and I live in a remote area. 2. VERY well packaged! 3. EASY to put together 4. At first, takes awhile to start up. 5. The second monitor will not be detected until you install the windows updates. Once they install, you're gucci. 6. The usb on the top of the tower plugs into the back for Wi-fi 7. There is a usb inside the mouse to plug into the back of the tower for it to work. 8. All cords, batteries and accessories are included and are easy to install...plug and play. 9. I had this set up in under 15 minutes; the start up for Windows took a bit longer and I had to hard restart it once, but now it works like a charm. 10. The monitors and tower bears a logo I'm not familiar with, but when the computer boots up, it's HP all the way. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase. When the computer first arrived, early March, I unpacked it, and I was very impressed with the care taken in packing it for shipping. It appeared, from the packing, that the computer was brand new. I removed all of the components and hooked it up for use. In hooking up the computer, I discovered that one of the cords necessary for completing the hookup was missing. So, I had to go out and get a cord to complete the hookup of the monitors. Two monitors were included, however, only one cord was included. Initially, the computer performed perfectly. No issues with speed or operation. However, since that time, the computer seems to crash at least once a month. I receive an error message, and a message that something has gone wrong, and that the computer will have to shut off and restart. As I was completing this review, it occurred to me again. I purchased the warranty for the computer, so I do have some peace of mind. However, it is disappointing to know that at any time the computer will crash and have to restart, just as I am in the middle of an important project. I won't make a buy or don't buy recommendation, just wanted to make an honest and accurate review of the product. Computer completely crashed. Contact Norton support and the technical staff took control of my computer to attempt to diagnose the issue. I was informed that windows was not properly installed and now the computer must be repaired. The computer must be taken in to a repair center and it must be wiped clean windows can be reinstalled. When I purchased the computer, I was not given a key or a cd or any other device that would allow me to reinstall windows on this computer. Purchasing this computer was a BIG MISTAKE!!! Arrived a couple days early. PC was shrinkwrapped and looked clean and almost new. The keyboard and mouse came in boxes and as per other reviews the brands on them were not familiar but they work ok. They are lighted gamer type flickering colors. I'm a 70 yr old grandma so, guess it's kinda cool. But I will probably replace the mouse with a wireless one. Set up was pretty simple, except it does NOT come with a wifi dongle so order one. I also had a vga cable from an old computer. If you don't you'll have to order one of the acceptable ones from list on amazon page . The setup info sheet was a little confusing. Step one..make sure you have internet. Then it goes on to Step 1..or (in little print under step 1) it says if you have internet go to step 5 page 2. But you can't go to step 5 without the other steps on page 2. I Googled how to set up a refurbished computer and watched the video and figured it out. But..why go to step 5 if you need steps 1-? on page 2?? It did the Windows 10 reinstall from drive. Make sure it goes to the box for Language/name etc or it's open to some hacking according to the Google video, but mine worked fine. If it goes straight to Windows desktop, it isn't ok. Again, the pc I got here was ok. Have not set up my wifi printer yet so ?? The worst part was trying to set it up in the middle of a blizzard/bad weather with a line of sight computer modem system. The computer itself works fine and I’m pleased with the performance. The issue I’ve encountered is with the monitors. To begin with, one of the two 24” HP frameless monitors arrived damaged and after a conversation with Support, another was sent as a replacement. The one sent to replace was a 22” Dell not frameless; I was a bit disappointed. Then after a couple weeks, the first monitor starts flickering. I change out power cords, and connection cords to the computer with no effect. The monitor just blanks out every few minutes. Some days it does it continually, other days it works fine. Needless to say, I’m not pleased, I’d like to get 2 monitors that work as advertised. ... show more
