In using, the piece that goes thru the needle, also goes thru the thread. Took a bit just to get something thru the needle, the bar would go around the thread. If it had a smll notch to grab thread I think it would work better.

It really works. The instructions and drawing are poor: approach the needle from the front, not the side. Does better than my fancy Bernina self-threader! BTW, Jeff from Bernina has very useful how-tos on YouTube. Thank you!

I think I will do a video on using this... I have single needle embroidery machines ... the needle holes are front to back so it's difficult to get the wire one's on the back of the needle to thread them. I needed something to push the thread through the hole. This works great!!! I was able to do it first time out. I like it so much I'm actually order them again to have as a back up. ... show more
