  • The incubater is doing fine.
It seems to be doing fine so far. My only issue has been trying to get the humidity to even out. I will update if I have any issues with it.

  • Fully automated incubator for larger hatch operations Fully automated incubator for larger hatch operations
Color: 70- BLUE
I have tried probably dozen different incubators over the past few years. Besides being the largest, and not just for that reason, this is my favorite yet, here's why: This is a very large incubator with generous capacity and thoughtful design. Despite the enormous capacity (for a non-industrial one, at least - I mean, I just have this in my house or garage) the rectangular shape is a lot more manageable than circular incubators that waste surface area. It can fit a LOT of eggs. I haven't tried the full 70 chicken egg capacity yet (currently I'm doing a couple dozen pheasant eggs), but can envision almost 6 dozen medium-sized chicken eggs fitting, or even more in smaller eggs. The adjustable egg tray is excellent. It allows extremely fine spacing adjustments for everything from quail to chicken to duck, turkey, and goose eggs, and it conveniently includes slightly taller preset slots at perfect intervals for chicken eggs so there is no guesswork and it's easy to align the barrier on both sides by following where the tall notches are. The overall height is also sufficient for goose eggs, which is not always a given with incubators in this class. Temperature, humidity, and turning intervals are all easy to set and have been very stable in use. Humidity is maintained via a mechanical drip tube that feeds water drop-by-drop into the incubator, and it works very well as long as the water bottle you're drawing from does not run dry. If you need to get humidity up very quickly, you can also pour water directly into one of three little trays at the front that distribute the water throughout the floor of the incubator and let it start evaporating. There is a bright candling light built in to the top, which you'll find on most similar incubators. There's also a beeping alarm when either temp or humidity go out of bounds too much in either direction. The thick molded styrofoam housing is worth keeping since it adds insulation while still allowing full access to controls, wires, water tubes, and a little bit visibility. With the foam in place, you can still see some eggs and whether they're rolling. Without the top styrofoam piece, visibility is also pretty good around the perimeter, but not so much the eggs in the middle directly under the control panel. For lockdown, simply lift out the egg turning tray, which you can do without having to disturb or handle all the eggs individually. After hatching, there is ample space for newly hatched chicks to move around and stretch out before transferring to a brooder, and the clear windows make it genuinely enjoyable to observe and bond with them early on. Having used many incubators over the years, this stands out as one of the best combinations of automation and reliability I have used, and the size is truly impressive. If your hatchery is expanding to where you're routinely incubating dozens of eggs at once, I would highly recommend this one. Even if it's not all 70, the extra space for eggs and chicks is well worth it in my opinion. ... show more

  • A Lot of Room for Your Chicks
Color: 26-eggs
This was my first time trying to hatch chicks, they all hatched, I was so relieved. I got this back in April and it took me awhile to work up the courage to do it, I was so worried about killing little chicks. The egg tray is adjustable, which is cool if you plan on hatching different types of eggs; currently I am only planning on chickens. I like that this is big, all the chicks had room in the incubator. Albeit I only did 3 chicken eggs, I wasn't ready for a full incubator. I really like that there is a beeping sound when the temperature or humidity are off. The humidity, temperature, rotation cycles are easy to set, but I would highly recommend reading the instructions fully and doing additional research before beginning. Always make sure the water bottle is full so the humidity is properly maintained. There is a light bulb in the top that gets warm for the eggs and chicks. There was a lot of room for my three chicks to move around after hatching, even if I had hatched a full incubator there still would've been a lot of room for them. They were so cute to look at through the clear window. This works very well, is durable and it seems like it would last at least a few years. I think this is a really good value for the price, especially with the price of eggs/chicken meat going up and up. ... show more

  • So far, so good
Color: 26-eggs
I’ve only had this egg incubator for about a week, but it’s already running smoothly with my first batch of chicken eggs and I’m impressed with how straightforward and consistent it feels so far. I wanted something with automatic turning and good visibility without spending a fortune, and this one checks those boxes nicely. The build is solid for the price. The digital controls make it easy to set and monitor both temperature and humidity at a glance, and the built-in candler is a thoughtful touch that lets me check development without having to move eggs around too much. The auto-turner works quietly and reliably – I haven’t noticed any missed turns or rough handling of the eggs. Capacity seems generous; I currently have it loaded with chicken eggs and there’s still plenty of room if I decide to try duck or goose eggs later. What stands out most after this first week is how stable the conditions stay inside. The temperature holds steady and the humidity doesn’t swing wildly even when I open the lid briefly to add water. Ventilation seems well-designed too – no funky smells or condensation buildup yet. Setup took just a few minutes, the instructions were clear enough, and everything clicked together without hassle. So far the eggs look healthy and the incubator is doing exactly what I hoped it would. I’ll update this review once the hatch is complete, but after one week of steady use I can comfortably say this is a well-thought-out unit that makes the incubation process feel much more manageable for a backyard setup. ... show more

  • Successful Hatch - Good Temp Regulation
Color: 26-eggs
I waited to review this Incubator until after hatching Chicks in it. I think it did well, and I do have several other Incubators and years of experience to compare it to. This hatched 5 healthy chicks right at 21 days. Of 8 fertile eggs, 2 quit early and 1 near day 17, which is on par with my older hens eggs in other Incubators. The temperature regulation is obviously controlled by PID, with a digital display that rapidly refreshes. The auto turning interval is controllable, that's a very nice feature. I do wish the turning motion was gentler on the eggs, not so abrupt. But overall, I like the design of this Incubator. The groove for the lid to sit in makes it easier to position the lid when closing, although replacing the humidity hose can be challenging. The low temp alarm beeps a little too soon, it doesn't have a lot of patience for lifting the lid to make adjustments or remove eggs for candling. The auto humidity works well and I enjoyed the chance to control it better. This is big enough to easily handle 26 Large Chicken eggs, although one near Jumbo size egg was not turning smoothly. In my opinion, every Incubator has upsides and downsides, what matters is the chicks resulting from it. Since this yielded the same hatch rate as Incubators twice the price, I say it's a good value. ... show more
