Lots of great things to say about this incubator. The temperature control was easy to set and maintained the desired temperature beautifully!! The user manual made figuring out other setting and usage manageable and answered questions well. The automatic rotation and humidity controls essentially made it no maintenance during the incubation period. I really appreciate the fact that the water is pumped into sponges at the top as needed for humidity, not simply pooled under the try like other incubator styles. We had two running side by side, the other style with water in the try underneath really started to stink after the hatch days, but this one was so much cleaner. You can hear the fan constantly running, but it’s a very manageable noise level. Everything functioned as it was supposed to, which gives so much peace of mind for using it again. If the temperature or humidity does rise or fall outside a safe range it will alarm until addressed. The pieces cleaned up very well and are high quality, plenty durable for future uses. All in, the value for peace of mind and ease of use is totally worth it!

didn’t work for us. humidity fluctuates too much and unequal temperatures. this unit does not have a fan to circulate the air in the incubator. i’d look for another machine . This had a very bad hatch rate 10% at best

There was a lot of thought put into this incubator. All clear cover has excellent viewing from all angles. The bottom tray is comprised of three pieces, the outer tray, inner tray with screen and the flower wheel for turning eggs. They fit together without any unintentional gaps or warped areas. The kit comes with the water tube already assembled plus one extra set of tubes, excellent! Instructions are easy to follow, assembly is intuitive. The water tube went on with ease, though I cringed a little at stretching it to go around the roller pump, which was a nice surprise. The roller pump moves water more reliably than a gravity drip and needs no priming. The water drips into a channel that soaks small sponges. Very efficient way to distribute humidity with so much more surface area. I was skeptical of the sponge method harboring bacterial growth but in retrospect the water reservoirs are probably just as prone if not worse. The intake portion of the tube goes in the provided bottle. It has a threaded neck but no top which still works fine. In a pinch any container will do for the water; one less special part I need to worry about replacing. The roller pump assembly has a cover that snaps into place with a magnet. Fantastic that I don't have to get a screwdriver to open and close that all the time. Inside the cover the center extends down with a column that has fingers to turn the flower wheel. Everything is completely enclosed in clear plastic, protecting the chicks and moving parts from each other. The lid has the control panel, very easy to use. Default settings are for optimum hatching for chickens. Adjustments are easy to make. I prefer dry hatches and a degree cooler, sometimes I set duck eggs, needing a week. I live in the United States so I prefer Fahrenheit which I could not find how to change from the Celsius default. Not a game changer at all, easy to adapt to. All the components fit tightly and neatly together, leaving minimal loss of temperature and humidity. What's not addressed in the manual is the little flip down doors in the bottom, tray that lead to two different water reservoirs. These are great access doors to fill during lockdown. Choose one or both depending on the desired humidity you'd like. The parts are solid, durable and look easy to clean. They should last a long time. Twelve egg capacity is a nice size to work with. At a 75% hatch rate I'd have 8 chicks, 4/4 male/female ratio, allowing for a more manageable brood inside until the go out to the coop. There are small vents all over for air movement. At the end of every hatching season, I like to break down an incubator to clean out all the chick dander that gets stuck everywhere. This unit doesn't look like it's intended to be unassembled so I will have to proceed with extra care when I do. Excellent value. Looking forward to the summer!

This 12-egg incubator is on the smaller side, which works perfectly if you want to run small batches or are just getting started without committing to a bigger setup. Setup was simple out of the box — everything you need is included, and the controls are easy to understand without digging into the manual. Temperature has been consistent, holding steady once it reached the set point, and the automatic egg turning is a real time-saver. I also like the auto-stop turning function — it’s a handy feature when you want to avoid overhandling the eggs. The built-in candler is convenient for quick checks, so you don’t need a separate tool. I’ve used it for two hatches so far. The first one hatched 8 out of 12 eggs, and the second one did 10 out of 12, which is a solid success rate for a small unit like this. After those hatches, the incubator is definitely a bit messy — chick feathers and fluff got into the airflow section, so I’ll need to get in there to clean it. The sponge for humidity looks like it will last maybe three more hatches before needing replacement. Overall, this incubator covers the essentials — stable temperature, auto turning, and easy controls. It’s not perfect, especially when it comes to cleaning access, but for its size, price, and small-scale hatches, it’s reliable and gets the job done.

After putting this incubator through a full cycle, I’m honestly impressed with how straightforward it made the whole hatching process. I expected something that required a lot of babysitting, but the automatic turning and temperature control handled most of the work for me. Once everything was set up, it mostly came down to monitoring the display and making sure the water levels stayed where they should be. The automatic egg turning is probably the most helpful feature. Watching it rotate the eggs at intervals gives you confidence that the embryos are being handled the way a hen naturally would. It takes away one of the biggest tasks you’d normally have to remember to do several times a day. The digital display made it easy to keep an eye on temperature, humidity, and incubation days without guessing. I also really liked the clear lid because you can check on everything without opening the incubator and disrupting the internal environment. Toward the later days, it was actually pretty exciting to watch the eggs begin to show signs of hatching. The built-in egg candler came in handy too. Being able to check development without needing extra equipment was a nice bonus and made the whole process feel a bit more interactive. Cleanup afterward was also easier than I expected since the components come apart and rinse out fairly quickly. I’ve completed a full hatch cycle with this incubator and had a good hatch rate, which is ultimately what matters most. Setup was straightforward and the controls for temperature and humidity were easy to understand. During use, the temperature stayed consistent and the unit maintained conditions well without needing constant adjustment. The auto-turn feature worked as expected and was helpful for reducing manual effort.
