The bike looks cool and feels solid. I have not had a chance to test its full speed, but did get it into the low 20's mph on a slight downhill, before I had to slow down. The bike's power seems sufficient for everything I have tested so far.

    • Buyer beware specs are lies
Purchased this bike on prime day and I’m happy I did as at full price it wouldn’t be remotely worth it. To start I’m 6 foot 180 lbs the bike claims to go up to 28 mph this is a flat out lie, unadvertised speed restrictor limits it to 20. Which is false advertising and unacceptable. The compact size makes it border line uncomfortable to ride for more than 10 miles which with battery life being low quality I’m not surprised if you’d get further than that. Battery life isn’t remotely what they stated either half of what’s advertised is a more realistic expectation and grounded in reality. The pedal assist is unreliable and automatically shuts off upon hitting 17-19 mph creating a lurch that can potentially cause the rider to lose balance. Looks great out of the box but the paint job is of poor quality can rub off in certain spots by hand. The head light it comes with is subpar in quality and doesn’t hold up at all for city or trail riding. The rear brake light is advertised as staying on and being bright it’s a cheap low visibility blinker. If I could return it for something better I would but their return policy is set up so you have to have it in original condition and packaging so you can’t test the bike to figure out all of these willfully misadvertised features and stats. Over all a decent introduction or bare bones model but no where near the quality advertised either speed, range, hill climbing power all being lies. ... show more

Awesome bike! I am 285 pounds and I was still able to get top speed on this bike. The reason I did not give this a 5 star is because of two things: 1) The screws under the seat, on one of them there is not enough gap to screw it tight. 2) The APP is not downloadable from Hovsco website from my android phone. Even if I scan the QR code with my phone, it just says "item not found" try again and ask you to play this Hot Air Balloon game while you wait. I was not able to unlock this bike to class c until I saw a youtube guide on how to unlock this bike without the app. ... show more

As an outdoor enthusiast, I needed a rugged electric dirt bike that could keep up. This thing CRUSHES hills! The torque is insane, and the 20×4.0 tires grip like crazy. Perfect for my weekend adventures. Plus, the adult electric bicycle setup is comfy for long rides. Way better than my old bike!

Best fat tire ebike I've owned! The power delivery is so smooth but packs a punch when you need it. Rode through sandy beaches and muddy trails with zero issues - this is hands down the most capable electric dirt bike I've tried. The ergonomic design makes it super comfortable for long rides, unlike other adult electric bicycles I've tested. The app connectivity is a nice bonus too. Worth every penny ... show more
