We purchased this hoverboard in July during Prime Day deals as a Christmas gift, and it has been nothing but trouble from the moment we unboxed it. The device turns itself on and off at random times throughout the day. When my 4-year-old tries to ride it, it works for only a second before shutting down completely—throwing her off in the process. This hoverboard is absolutely not worth the money and is a serious safety hazard. My child was literally thrown into a brick fireplace when it suddenly powered off. To make matters worse, customer service has been completely unhelpful and refuses to assist unless you purchased an extended warranty. Our older child owns a hoverboard from a different brand and has had zero issues, which only highlights how poorly made this one is. We will be switching brands permanently and would never recommend this product to anyone. ... show more
