This scooter broke within two months of purchase, the steering column became detached from wheel and now is completely useless and unsafe to ride. After reaching out to Hover-1 since it was still inside the 6 month warranty, they refused to help and would take no responsibility for the defective product. This thing is awesome, it doesn’t really get to 16 mph unless you drive straight for a while, it mostly just goes 15 mph. The only downside is that the battery definitely does not last 16 miles. Maybe 3 and a half. Worth the money.

I ordered this item from Amazon, as I primarily shop with this company. The scooter was for my daughter, who lives in Florida. The scooter is defective the brakes do not work properly, nor does it hold a charge. Both very dangerous and concerning. Although within return window, you are requesting a box which we no longer have and it is assembled. I feel due to this unsafe product a full refund is given or a new item is shipped. We should not have to pay the cost for shipping or supply the cost. The photo provided was the one taken on 12/28 when we received the item, before using and realizing it is defective. AMAZON SHOULD HAVE REFUNDED ME IMMEDIATELY AS THIS ITEM IS OF NO USE TO ANYONE!!!!!! ... show more
