  • When you know what your getting, you know how to use it!
When you know what your getting, you know how to use it! No this isn't a $500-4000 dollar Snow throwing machine... but know that, it beats the heck out of a shovel any day, anytime, anywhere. Wish I'd bought this 6yrs ago! 😔 The time it takes to use this, take your time, enjoy the work, it's still faster than the shovel and issues no back pain and hand sores doing it. 😊 😃 I can park 4-6 cars in my driveway, it clears this with no problem and my front side walks. I have batteries to spare 8 total. 1set usually gets all done liteweight work, heavy 2set. (With 5" dry snow I can clear everything in 25mins, I take 45mins on my heavy wet snow and that's me taking me time plus 2sets of batteries needed) 5 🌟 I went out last night snow twice, 15min just to keep height down and 25min 2nd to perfect everything for today. But I like to cut grass and this makes me feel like I doing it during the winter Note 1 for users This is for all battery power snow units... The less you force it through the snow the better it works, but most force through the snow trying to hurry the job. (If you want to rush buy gas or corded electric unit) Note 2 Alot yourself 15mins more than you want for heavy snow... and walk at a easy pace. Enjoy the process if you can Note 3 You don't have to clean tall snow in one pass, example- 8" or more till backwards and chop height down to 5-3" of snow and then you can clean straight to the concrete. (Dry or wet snow) My snow blower or thrower as one person commented was titled wrong, work exactly as I need and want... I needed to get away from shovel back pain and wanted a fun way of getting snow days done for my house to be happy. Plus my wife, if ever have to remove snow, it won't be terrifying on her, like the shovel was one year, I was at work and she had to get out and shovel. Let's just say she haven't done snow job in a long time... it hurt her that bad.... So thank God for this my snowy days are fun. Bless you all that read this and love be multiply the more. 🙏 ... show more

  • Pleasantly surprised! Loved it!
I ordered this Houselife Cordless Snow Blower with high hopes and low expectations. My driveway is 177 feet long and pretty wide, but I hoped this snow blower could at least clear the concrete pad in front of the garage since we keep snagging our snow shovels in the expansion joints. Southeast Idaho got a late spring snowstorm with about three inches of wet, heavy snow, and I put the Houselife Snow Blower to the test. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. Not only did it clear the snow really well, but it cleared down to the pavement even better than my Ariens Compact Snow Blower. Now it did not blow this wet, heavy snow “up to 30 feet away and 16.4 feet high”, but it got it out of the way. I assume it will blow farther with lighter, deeper snows. I used two Waitley 20V 6A Dewalt-compatible batteries from Amazon, and was able to clear pretty much all of my driveway. It did great! It even took out a one-foot high packed snowbank. I’m really impressed. Based on this one test run, I would highly recommend the Houselife Cordless Snow Blower. ... show more

  • it can’t blow out a candle…
I thought it was really cool that it took my 20 V Dewalt batteries that I use in all my tools. I had very low expectations about this blower thinking that maybe it being small and lightweight. It would be nice to do the walk or the steps or something. For the amount of snow that it actually moved, it would’ve been easier to use a broom. On top of that, mine just stopped working after the first attempt of using it, and trust me I was being very gentle with it. On fully charged batteries it will now only run for a few seconds before turning off. I’m sending it back. ... show more

  • Works quite well.
Works well as long as snow is less than about 4" deep. Struggles with anything deeper. I used 2 - 5ah batteries and was able to easily clear my three car driveway which is about 25' long. I would have given 5-stars if it worked on deeper snow as described but, it kept tripping the breaker no matter how slow I went in about 5" of snow. ... show more

  • Surprisingly Powerful
Because this machine is so much lighter than a gas version, I was at first skeptical of its power. Finally got to try it against some real snow and I was surprised at how powerful this machine is. Driveway is 120’ x 20’ and it took two sets of batteries to complete. Buy a four pack of batteries with a double charger. I bought no-name 20V, 6AH batteries and they worked great. Very low noise level and the headlights are useful. I am very pleased with this purchase. Updated: we had snow with initial mixed precipitation. Cleared wet snow and crusty ice very well, which was a huge test. Auger seems durable. Recommend 6 batteries and two dual chargers to stay on task for bigger storms. No-name batteries seem good and are much cheaper than brand. Updated 2: one issue is the prongs to connect to the battery. The metal is flimsy and can bend if not properly aligned. Be careful in inserting, as there is some play in the well when sliding into place. Advantages over gas: no servicing. Fuel readily abundant at home. Quiet: can run early in morning or later at night without disturb neighbors. Lightweight: easy to lift, maneuver for storage. ... show more

  • Great solution to snow removal!
I didn't have very high expectations given the price point and the fact that it was clearly an off brand. However, this thing is super cool. I was able to get through 8-10 inches of fluffy snow in one pass and it threw the snow plenty far away. A few days later, I was able to take it to my office after some of the snow had started melting and despite the snow looking more like a slushy from 7-Eleven, it still got through it in 2 passes. It is mostly plastic, so I did keep it inside for fear that the plastic would become brittle in the cold and will be keeping it at my office inside as I have no outside storage. Because it is battery operated along with all of my Dewalt law equipment I keep at the office, I don't have to worry about fumes or liquids inside. It didn't damage my wood porch or handicapped ramp but did completely clear them. Almost looking forward to the next snow here in Ohio to try it again. ... show more
