  • I was able to get an instant hot water heater in an old house

Works perfectly on my old federal pacific panel in my house. I was able to update my hot water heater to instant. Was delivered very quickly and great quality

  • Works great - all old panels of any brand should be inspected -- there is no recall on FPC panels
Style: Circuit Breaker
Replaced a 40 year old breaker that started nuisance tripping when backup electric heat came on in a heat pump system. Problem fixed. Don't get conned that FPC panels have been recalled, are going to explode, can't buy insurance. Not true. Home Inspectors flag these based on the brand, and assume other panels are OK if they are some other brand, which is lazy and dangerous. As you can see MINE from 1983 with the inside panel off, there are no burned or melted wires, no warping or discoloration from overheating, the breakers are tight, they flip on and off without binding. All boxes should be checked and replaced if their condition warrants. If you are buying breakers I assume you know how to safely install them. ... show more

  • Good replacement breaker
Style: Circuit Breaker
Bought this to replace an old breaker for my heat pump that kept tripping. It fit right in and works fine, I do think the reason the old breaker kept tripping was because the lugs that hold the wire needed to be tightened. I did this before replacing breaker and it solved the problem. I'll keep it as a spare. ... show more

  • UBIF260N-New Federal Pacific Electric® Stab-Lok® NA260 Replacement. Two Pole 60 Amp
Style: Circuit Breaker
The media could not be loaded. This was my 4th one in 2 weeks and they keep sending me a used one not a new one that I paid for. As soon as I turn on my heater the breaker switch kicks off. The springs are weak as they are old and used or refurbished . My last one I got lasted me for 7 almost 8 yrs even when they say 10 yrs. I pray the replacement for this one will be a charm. It’s 35 degrees outside and I have no heater because of this issue. Will be sending them both back defective ... show more

  • Quality is questionable
Style: Circuit Breaker
Breaker was missing a terminal screw… unusable! Replacement appeared used, guess we will see if it’s serviceable long term. I ordered this breaker previously, and with a 48amp load ( 80% of capacity per NEC for continuous use) the breaker failed, didn’t just trip, it wouldn’t even reset! Now I feel like I need to have a spare on hand at all time for when the breaker decides to fail again. The downfall of having an older panel I suppose, having to source breaker is difficult and often a guessing game on quality and reliability. ... show more
