I bought a discounted one from Amazon Warehouse due to a damaged box. The lamp is nice and sturdy and looks great next to a leather chair. I did have to level it out since it appeared to be leaning. Glad I got a discounted one since I'm not sure it's worth over $400.

This is a gorgeous lamp. I tried several other of the more affordable options first, but I'm glad that I finally went ahead and splurged. It is so well made and I love the warm light from a bulb versus a built in LED that would probably fail in a year causing the whole lamp to be worthless. I'm very pleased. The materials are not nice .. the only quality is the bottom and it doesn’t show . I also am disappointed in the shiny finish . I didn’t expect that it would look and feel so cheap. I may or may not keep it . The thought of packing it back up after so many many things I have ordered is not appealing, but on the other hand I may do it if I find another even for more money . ... show more

The lamp is absolutely gorgeous and it works exactly as described. There is no dimmer and there's no dimmer advertised. On, Off, Adjustable Beautiful. I'd like to also write about the customer service~ which equals the beauty of the lamp. John Ivers from Haus Appeal called me almost as soon as I placed my order, to make sure I knew the lamp finish I was ordering [polished nickel] was, in fact, what I wanted. He said the pictures on the screen must make it appear a tad gold and the lamp was definitely silver. I assured him that I'd read the verbiage/description and the polished nickel finish was what I had been shopping for. Who does that? I like the design and the ability to adjust the height. The bulb gets very hot. The coating is not uniform or smooth. Not sure how the coating is going to hold up.
