Didn't last six months before it quit working. It still powers on, and you hear the click, but it doesn't heat the water at all. When it did work, it only made the water luke warm.

I wont be hooking this unit up. It carries no NEC, UL or NFPA safety certification. ......I intended to use it outdoors in winter to melt the ice off my tractor. Not. 1) The description says 3kw @ 110v, thats almost 30 amps. That exceeds maximum current from a standard house outlet by 50% or more 2) There is no temperature adjustment control on the unit. It is either 100% on or 100% off. 3) There is an overtemp safety inside the unit. Disassembly is required to reset the safety. 4) Instructions don't cover all possible danger. What happens if the unit is on and the user closes a water valve on the hot water output? Does the safety trip? ...............The unit appears to be well made for what is there. As is it does not come with an NEC, UL or NFPA safety certification. I wish it had automatic internal temperature regulation, adjustable for "do not exceed". I'd keep it.

The highest temperature reached at the tap 55 to 57 degrees Celsius. That is also what the unit led lights indicated. I am satisfied the unit works as it is stated by the manufacturer. My purchase of the unit was after reading all of the 1 star complaints. That's right. I am an old retired tech who expected the unit would work as the poorly presented specifications said. It is safe, which is number one for me. Number two was that it would not leak due to poor quality. It was as good a quality by me as I have seen in 50 years of so. In general the Chinese manufacturers have pretty rapidly surpassed anything made in the usa except the Tesla cars. Well uh, I forgot they make the tesla cars also.

I bought this expecting that the 3000w power rating was grossly optimistic, and it could be powered from a standard 20a circuit in my RV. Turns out it actually draws it's full rated power (26 amps through a 2.5mm/14awg cord 😳) and will trip a 20 amp breaker in under a minute. Would require a dedicated 30a circuit, and for the cord end to be replaced with a proper 30a twist lock for safe operation. That said, when I gave it a powerful enough supply, it made incredibly hot water in a matter of seconds. I'll be replacing it with a 1500w heater, but it certainly does work.

I ordered a second unit when it went bad! They delivered it 2 days! They had a customer service number you call. I do not if was the manufacture or Amazon. After spending about 8 hours - I never did anyone to answer! I wanted to find out more about the automatic cut off switch.

I love the size of this water heater but there a 2 major issues. The one I received had a non-functioning thermal regulator and it basically cooked my water line until it burst. Luckily I had easy access to make the repair. The seller did send a refund no questions asked. I greatly appreciate that. The other issue is, these little guys use 20amps, the entire feed to my tiny house was only 30amps. As stated by other reviewers I experienced frequent breaker tripping, you may as well if the nearest outlet is only 15amp or has other load on it. So, I can't recommend this device for those reasons but I found a 2gal 15amp mini water heater. It takes up more space but it uses less power and has an easily adjustable thermostat and bleed off valve.
