  • Nice quality, good value
Color: Black Size: 1 Size
This is a nice hair dryer. It’s pretty quiet, has a cold shot button, and dries my hair quickly. It also doesn’t weigh very much, it’s super light and doesn’t tire my arm out. I’ve had the same hair dryer for a long time and that sucker was heavy. It’s not too expensive, either.

  • ~~Finally a hair dryer that I like!~~
Color: Black Size: 1 Size
My old hair dryer bit the dust after lasting 15 plus years. Of course there was no possiblitly of finding another one and even when I looked at the same brand and tried one out I wasn't happy with the product. I bought and returned 3 hair dryers because I wanted something similar to the last dryer. I have fine hair so I wanted a dryer that had a lower speed which this one does, it has 2 speeds plus a cold blast button. I also wanted a dryer that has a cold setting to start the blow drying process, which once again this one does. It has 3 temperature settings, a warmer setting and then a hot setting. I needed a diffuser and I like this dryers diffuser becasue the tips are rubber which is quite unusual so its almost like a massage for your head. And last but certainly not least I wanted a hair dryer that was quieter, not so loud so it's heard throughout the house. Of all of the dryers I tried out this one is definately the quietest!! It also seems fairly lightweight to me. The only negative I have with this appliance is that the power buttons are on the outside of the handle which seems odd because they should be on the inside where you finger tips are when using the dryer. All in all though I would highly recommend this hair dryer. Fingers crossed it lasts as long as my last dryer! ... show more

  • Quiet but not powerful
Color: Black Size: Full Size
The hairdryer is quiet, lightweight and great for a cheap option, but it doesn’t have nearly as much power as higher end hair dryers I’ve used before. I travel for work so I see a lot of different types of hotel hair dryers and while this one looks sleek and interesting, it takes awhile to dry. Even with the attachments it is low in pressure. The heat is standard and the options for speed, heat and cooling are at or above average. I just wish it dried quicker ... show more

  • Great for styling and shorter hair due to low speed setting
Color: Black Size: 1 Size
This dryer is exactly what I’ve been looking for because of its low speed drying setting. Everything out there is geared toward massive airflow, but not all of us need or want that and I’ve had a really hard time finding a dryer that offers a truly low airflow option. If you have really long hair or thick hair, this may not be the dryer for you, but if you want the option of low speed with heat (even the cool shot maintains lower flow when used on that setting) this is a great option. The higher speed setting does kick it up and move the air like a typical dryer. The concentrator further speeds airflow, so I think this dryer will work well for most people. It uses ceramic/tourmaline tech to increase the drying speed and soften the hair. And yes, it’s lightweight and very quiet. I’m extremely happy ... show more

  • <Edited> It Really Is Quiet!
Color: Black Size: 1 Size
<Edit> This dryer worked well until yesterday when, I assume, the heating element went out and now it only blows cool air. I've not even had it 6 months. I'm not pleased that I have to shop for a new dryer already. Definitely would NOT recommend. I'm really liking this dryer so far. It truly is very quiet. My old hair dryer was not only noisy but would make a higher-pitched noise that would drive my dogs to another part of the house. I like that the dryer has 3 speeds and heat settings. The hottest setting is so hot that I am using the medium setting. The bonus feature is how lightweight this dryer is. Its not bulky at all. ... show more

  • Perhaps quiet, but only because max airflow is very weak
Color: Black Size: 1 Size
I bought this dryer based on a WIRED magazine recommendation. It is rated 'best hairdyer' after Dyson. I should have known not to trust reviews without specific information on performance like air speed or max air temperature. This dryer's main draw is the low level of noise it produces. I don't have any data to back it up, but it subjectively makes perhaps slightly less noise than $20 hairdryers I've used when they are placed on the lowest airflow setting. The most frustrating thing about this dryer is that it is incapable of producing an airflow greater than what most dryers produce on low. It's quiet, sure, but only because it is very weak. In addition, the attachments conduct a lot of heat and reach temperatures capable of burning your skin. The dryer looks sleek and doesn't feel cheap, but I highly recommend steering clear of this one. I feel that many cheaper dryers are better options. ... show more

  • Works great, but not for long
Color: Black Size: 1 Size
Important context: I bought this dryer 2 years ago. I have used it 2x a week at home. I have never taken it anywhere since purchase. I loved this blow dryer when I first used it due to it's powerful drying capabilities and much quieter volume and a longer cord than my old dryer. However, after about a year (of minimal use) the quiet volume, which is the reason I bought a new dryer in the first place, was negated by a grating noise. Something was obviously interfering with the fan, but I could not see what or where it was. I kept using it for another year with the noise increasing until I had to switch back to my 15+ yr old dryer today because the dryer was overheating due to the interference. Since it's worthless to me now, I'm going to see if I can take it apart and find the issue, but it's probably trash now. I'm extremely disappointed in this product. ... show more

  • GOLDILOCKS HAIR DRYER FOR CURLY OR MULTI-TEXTURED HAIR
Color: Black Size: 1 Size
As someone with thick, multi-textured, multi-type wavy-curly hair who DOES NOT use a blow dryer for blow outs or straightening but rather for diffusing and supporting waves, most dryers today are overkill on force and heat. I searched high and low, in stores and online, for a solid blow dryer that offered options for TRUE low (but not too low) heat, and TRUE low-medium (but not too low) force of air. This one was the goldilocks. Hot enough without burning your scalp or frying your hair, and offers two good moderate-low wind speed options. I almost always use the diffuser option. Works great. A word to the wise don't throw it around, handle with care. I've read that the rubber diffuser teeth can fall out. Mine have not in 9 mos so far. I got one for my 11 year-old niece who also has curly hair. ... show more
