  • Perfect eggs every time🥚
Color: Black Size: 6 Eggs
This little egg poacher is so much more than a poacher. The water level determines the cooking level of the egg(s), and it is on the mini measuring cup. It is quick, easy to use, easy to clean, and my eggs are always perfect! There’s even a shell popper built into the measuring cup for beautifully steamed or poached eggs. There are two optional trays for omelettes and round “fried” eggs without the mess of frying. I am ordering two more of these for my kids in college! ... show more

  • It Works!
Color: Aqua Size: 7 Eggs
Hard Boiled Eggs or soft boiled? This makes the job easier. No more exploded eggs - which is what always happens to me when i boil them - and then the pot needs to be cleaned. I watched the videos and followed the directions for hard boiled eggs and ended up with six perfect hard boiled eggs. there was all yellow, no green. Yea! After ice water bath they peeled easily and I bagged them for the refrigerator. The hardest part is punching a tiny hole in each egg before cooking. Soft Boiled eggs need a little less time (therefor less water) then marked on the enclosed cup. when made as per directions I got medium eggs. That could be because I had to wait until the eggs cooled enough to handle. Ill work on timing. I would definitely recommend!! PS I used egglands Extra large eggs ... show more

  • Works perfectly!!
Color: Black Size: 7 Eggs
I love this egg cooker. It’s so convenient and works perfectly. The timer chimes when it’s done. I knew that and it still surprised me when it’s chimed!! This is so much easier than boiling on a stove. You put the eggs and water in, put holes in the eggs as directed, top on , press button and sit back. I let them sit in there about an hour then peeled them perfectly. No cold water needed. Love this machine. Plus it’s so little and doesn’t take up much room, yet it makes up to 7 eggs. ... show more

  • READ & FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS
Color: Aqua Size: 7 Eggs
If you read (and follow) the instructions you'll have the best experience with the Dash Rapid Egg Cooker. I received it, read the instruction booklet, unpacked it, washed the washable parts, watched Dash's little "how to" videos and quickly made 2 poached eggs. They were perfect! Not too runny, not at all hard and moist & delicious as well. I quickly prepared 7 eggs for hard cooking by poking the wide end of the egg with the provided tool, adding the correct amount of water and putting the cover on the cooker. I got 7 perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs. While I was learning how to use the tool to poke holes in the eggs I was being overly cautious and managed to break 2 eggs by squeezing too hard and breaking the shell of one -- in multiple places -- with my fingers. I broke a 2nd one by pushing the tool almost sideways making a bigger hole with a small crack in it. I chalked those 2 up to experience and set them aside. I then cooked 7 intact eggs in the cooker. They came out perfect and unexpectedly easy to peel. I've never been able to boil any number of eggs without a few cracking badly so losing 2 to the learning experience still left me ahead in the hard cooking eggs game. After making the first 7 eggs, I decided to "see what would happen" if I cooked the 2 broken eggs in the egg cooker even though they were badly broken. Please note that the first egg was essentially crushed with a little bit of egg white oozing out between the broken pieces of egg shell. The other egg was slightly cracked with a larger than necessary square hole in it. I assumed that both wood ooze out quite a bit of egg into the cooker. I added the appropriate amount of water, crossed my fingers and turned it on. The egg timer went off and I opened the cooker. Both eggs appeared to be intact with no leakage whatsoever. A big surprise. I cooled and peeled both eggs and they were absolutely intact and tasted great. The broken one was misshapen looking in the shell but once the shell was (easily) removed it looked fine, only slightly lumpy at the top of the egg - the part that is usually flat in hard boiled eggs. Even though some of the egg white had oozed out of the cracks in the shell, the egg itself, the egg looked fine. It would have been fine for most uses unless you were looking for a perfect shape for deviled eggs for example. Boiling an egg generally leaves a flat spot on the broad end of the egg, so normally that perfect shape just doesn't happen. So, my first 3 attempts using this egg cooker far exceeded my expectations and the Dash Rapid Egg Cooker is definitely a keeper for me. BTW: Reading and following the instructions is, in my opinion, essential to successfully using this cooker. Viewing the video that is included in the product listing is also very helpful: it gives a good idea of what to expect and you can observe what it looks like to use the cooker successfully. I learned from watching the video that using the needle provided to poke a hole in the larger end of the egg helps to prevent the eggs from cracking, makes the shells much easier to peel and allows the wider end of the egg to expand to fill the rounded shape of the shell giving a perfect egg shape on both ends for much better looking eggs for any dish where the shape of the whole egg is visible such as for deviled eggs. The video also explains why the provided measuring cup indicates that LESS water is used for MORE eggs being cooked which is counterintuitive. A number of reviewers have commented on this seeming mis-measurement; assuming the cup was incorrectly marked I can't recall ever being this pleased with an online purchase and I will be using Dash's Rapid Egg Cooker regularly. ... show more

  • Works well, but handle is really dangerous
Color: Aqua Size: 6 Eggs
This "DASH Rapid Egg Cooker: 6 Egg Capacity Electric Egg Cooker" is a very good egg cooker, as expected from Dash. My one complaint is a design flaw, possibly forced by patent issues? The tray has a little handle in the center that can be detached for using the poaching & omelette inserts, & to get the egg-laden tray off when they're finished cooking, you have to put your hand directly over the very hot steam plate to grab the handle. The detachable stem/handle is not very secure & can detach easily, especially when you're hurrying to get your hand (holding the egg tray) out of the steam cloud. If you don't balance the eggs by placing them on opposite sides of the tray, the hot tray tips sideways & the handle detaches, dropping the eggs in the process. This is both unnecessarily fiddly & quite dangerous. Dash, please ditch the detachable center post & place 2 little loop handles on opposite sides of the tray. Much safer & easier to use. One more thing: why the locking mechanism? The instructions say never to lock the lid when the cooker is in use, so is it just for transport to storage? Seems superfluous, & eliminating it would likely cut manufacturing costs. ... show more

  • Can’t ask for better!
Color: Red Size: 6 Eggs
Hands down the best $16 I’ve ever spent. It is so incredibly easy to set up, it does not take long to cook, and the quality of cook is amazing. Even the hard boiled are so easy to peel. Plus it’s small, so easy to store!
