I have used this burner set for a few days and I'm farely impressed. It seemed like a steal for the price. Top Pros: 1. Very seemless and sleek build which makes for a ver easy cleanup. I like that I can just take my dish rag to the tough stuff. It feels and looks sturdy. It's also not very heavy, so very portable. 2. It comes with a safety knob to set it to a shut off mode when not in use. 3. It has a way sturdier cord than my last burner. 4. I like how tall the legs are because it sets it up off of my counter more efficiantly for airflow in my opinion. 5. Easy turning knob feature. 6. It cooks really well, especially with pots and pans that match the 7inch burners. I use a 10inch cast iron skillet on it as well. It takes just a couple extra minutes for the heat to reach the edges, but it cooks evenly once it's up to temp. I suggest always preheating your pans. Especially if they are thicker cast iron. Top Cons: 1. The knobs take nothing to turn them. So if you acidentally bump them without paying attention and you're safety shut off isn't activated, "them btchs be turnin on". So I suggests unplugging it when you aren't home especially, if you have crazy cats. LOL! 2. I wish the cord was a few more feet long. It's not even 3 feet. 3. There is no temperature indicator on the knobs or thermometer anywhere. So while it will cook your food, you never know what temperature it reaches. Although you can definitely figure out the sweet spots once you get a feel for it, I just think it would be helpful. It reminds me of a portable propaine camping stove, but electric. Suggestions: 1. Use 7 inch or smaller pans for quicker boiling. 2. Splash guard. As my burner set just sets on my counter, the grease gets everywhere. A splash guard isn't a have to, but would cut clean up time down. All in all, it is perfect for me and my partner. We have a small apartment with no kids so this thing proves worthy. I only hope it doesn't poop out after I upload this review.

After years of eyeing all kinds of portable burners, I finally bought two of these last year. I wanted the two burner unit initially, however, I realized that if I bought two separate burners I could really maximize their portability. I don’t know about other cooks, but I’ve always had this little fantasy about being able to cook in other rooms besides the kitchen. For example, during the holidays, I do a lot of baking, candy making, etc. My kitchen is small and so if my daughter is home, it can quickly get too crowded. As a passionate baker and cook, having only four burners is extremely limiting. So all I need to do is take one of these burners and bring it in my dining room. I placed a heat protection pad underneath it. I get my double boiler going And once my chocolate or caramel is melted I can roll my candies or whatever else I need to do while sitting at my dining room table. It’s a nice break from a hot kitchen and my feet appreciate the rest too :) These burners are like a little rescue angels. I no longer stress near as much about cooking things and timing them appropriately so that everything is ready at the same time, etc. Having two extra burners really gives me a lot of room to plan things accordingly as well as helping me enjoy my cooking more. The less I stress the more I enjoy cooking! On the quality of this product, I am completely satisfied with it. I love the size because they don’t take up a lot of room. They heat very quickly. I’ve use them for things such as boiling rice or a huge pot of seafood. I use them for making casseroles, cooking vegetables and the list can go on forever. A really cool feature is the integrated timer. The picture I attached shows the time as it was counting down. I believe you can set the timer for as long as three hours. I also love that it is very powerful and has multiple heat settings. As I researched all the different models those were some of the features that were lacking in other ones. They may have been beautiful and cute etc. but their power might have been a fraction of what this one has. I Wanted something they gave me the ability to control the heat setting in a manner that is as similar to a stove as possible. Many of the units I looked at had power on and off switches only and other ones Offered just a few heat settings. This burner has multiple settings and a knob that is just like turning the knob on the stove. The only complaint I have about this model is that for some reason, the way they designed it the little screen that shows the time or the temperature setting is blurry. I’m not sure if it’s a special kind of glass because it’s a heat product or not. But it would be nice to have more clarity. But don’t let that be a deciding factor for you, truly, that is a small thing in my opinion. FYI I did not get paid for this review I am just really someone who is very happy with this product and decided to write a review on it.

I have used this hot plate less than 10 months, and have used it lightly. I use it to heat a kettle up in the morning for a French press. The other week, after turning it off and going about the day, my husband said, "The hotplate is still on and super hot! But the knob is all of the way off! This thing is going to catch something of fire!" The plate was scary hot and had to be unplugged to turn the burner off. Basically, now the knob for On/Off plus heat adjustment does not work and it runs on hot...yet hotter than it did on full heat before the knob stopped working. I contacted the email for support. Supposedly they are to get back with you in 24hrs. I never heard back, so days later contacted another email address. They responded next day and said this email address does not handle these issues but, they will send my email over to (the email address I already contacted previously). The person who replied also stated that they have been busy, so just keep sending emails and they will respond. I have sent many emails over and over and I have had no reply what soever. I rarely place reviews...not because I do not care to. In fact, I wish I did. I am just so busy, that I do not have time. I honestly want to share good reviews and I have so many to share. I am so disappointed in this situation that I feel the need to place a review. I'm very disappointed that the company fully abandoned me and did not stand by their product nor stated warranty.
