I didn't purchase this for the board game itself, just the figure. The figure is unpainted and comes in 4 parts - the body, 2 legs and the base. There is weight to it, which means its not hollow like a model kit with almost no mold lines. As I'm a model painter, I can paint it my way and for the price its worth it. I bought this for the figure and I am very happy that I did. This figure is excellent! I had to paint this figure and the paint holds up well to it. If your thinking about getting this dont hesitate before it's gone. But when you get this it will not be painted
