I was looking for something solid to mount a direct drive wheel base to that I could get slide out of the way and fold up when I need to. All parts of the stand are actually pretty thick pieces of steel. This makes the whole setup VERY heavy (wheel stand, wheel base and rim, pedals, shifter, and, button box). This doesn’t take away from my rating - if you want a lighter wheel stand that is easier to move, you buy one that is made with more lightweight material and that will likely flex more. I use mine on carpet and have carpet sliders under the included wide rubber feet and it is easy enough to slide around. The chair cradle works well and keeps my chair and wheel stand together even with the carpet sliders under the stand. Great adjustability! I like to race and truck and I change my setup when I go between them. For trucking, I move the pedal try a little closer, and I tilt the wheel back. When I race I move the pedal tray a little farther away and tilt the wheel down. Compatibility is great. I have a Fanatec wheel base and heusinkveld sprints and everything mounted with no problems. I do not have the heusinkveld pedal base plate - the pedals are mounted directly to the wheel stand 2.0 pedal plate and I have no issues. When braking very hard, this plate DOES flex slightly, however this flex would probably be eliminated by using the heusinkveld pedal base plate mounted to the wheel stand 2.0 pedal plate. There are a couple small things I wish were different - I wish they shipped smooth plastic feet with the stand so you could slide it easier on carpet so that I didn’t have to use other carpet sliders that aren’t secured to the stand, I wish you could tilt the wheel back slightly more, and I’m not the biggest fan of the shifter mount. I’m not sure how they could improve it, but when using it, the shifter isn’t in the most natural feeling position (I have two pieces of 8020 aluminum secured together at a right angle and clamped to the mount and my shifter is mounted to the 8020, placing the shifter in a lower, more natural position - it’s less stiff but in VR you don’t notice and it works great). This design could be improved SLIGHTLY but for the price, this is a no brainer. I had previously been using a wheel mounted to my desk and the difference is night and day. I gave this 5 stars instead of 4 because of the quality, and the issues I had were so minor they either don’t really matter, or you can work around them. Great stand for a good price! Would recommend to anyone looking for a STURDY wheel stand!

First off, if you’re wanting to get into sim racing and you’re a beginner, don’t buy the GT lite foldable cockpit. This rig is affordable and grows as you grow. It is sturdy and can handle a direct drive wheel base.. it is solid. It also folds like the Lite. If you decide to purchase a seat, it attaches right to this rig, and can be detached and the cockpit folded and put away. Putting it together is a piece of cake (I’m mechanically inclined) the pieces fit nicely, and the directions were clear. You can have a first class rig with this wheel stand. It adjusts nicely and is really a bargain for someone just getting into racing. I can’t recommend this wheel stand highly enough.. it’s that good.

Supporting a wide array of racing wheels, pedals, and shifters (even changing to RHD), it brings a level of customization that you just don't get with cheaper alternatives. The quick-release mechanism makes adjustments a breeze, alot of comments say its hard to change the configuration for other users but i found it to be reasonable considering the build quality. Compact Yet Stable Design (★★★★☆): The compact and foldable design is a godsend for those with limited space (Im in a small apartment). When not in use, it folds neatly away without compromising stability during races. It strikes the perfect balance between space efficiency and rock-solid stability. 1 star off for the weight, but moving it a couple of feet will not be an issue even fully loaded with all of your sim gear, the foldability and low profile is not compromised by the weight dont let that be a turn off for you. Effortless Assembly (★★★★★): Setting up the Wheel Stand 2.0 was a surprisingly pleasant experience. The clear instructions and included tools made assembly straightforward, minimizing the time between unboxing and diving into racing, there were no struggles or pain points. Just make sure you build the shifter holder correctly i believe its set up for RHD!! In conclusion, the Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0 is not just a stand; it's an investment into a better sim racing experience. Its impressive build quality, adaptability, space-efficient design, enhanced stability, and user-friendly assembly make it a standout choice for enthusiasts - both new and old to the world of sim racing. definitely pick this sup if you are space limited, and even if you are not - this is well worth the investment as you can always upgrade to the full cockpit which was its greatest selling point to me in the future!
