first, it has a fixed focal length, no adjustable zoom; second none of the claims of ruggedness or mil standard panes out in reality; after a single use of bird watching during light hiking the lens element carrying the reticle shifted 90 degrees; use is otherwise cumbersome, straps slip lens caps fall off etc. etc. I am quite confident that this is one of the worst pieces of optic equipment in the known universe. ... show more

Well built sturdy do not fog used them in cold rainy day and they DID NOT FOG! That's the only reason I am giving them a 4 star rating. Why not five the lens caps keep falling off. Haven't really used all the other features on it so I cant comment on those. But in my opinion good binos. for the price. ... show more

Very clear optics and easy to use almost right out of the box. Built very durable and very user friendly. It took a few minutes to figure out how to calculate distances but that was an operator function issue. The only "slight" drawback is the UGLY yellow carrying strap that attaches to the binoculars.     • Where's the neck strap?

Product is okay for the money. The distance finder is kind of a joke. Have to know the height of an object to do the formula. Huh? What is the height of breaking fish on the water? Zero?? I did not get the neck strap with my package. It is shown in the pics that a neckstrap is included. It is listed on page 9 of instructions (#6) as part of the "binoculars and accessories" section. Listed as second item "Carrying strap 1 pc". Where is it?? ... show more
