Was very skeptical when I got it as it seemed this product wouldn't be strong enough to hold my 7 gallon aquarium but it works great! Holds still so the aquarium won't sway for shake and all the extra shelves are a great addition too!

Very easy to assemble and the finished product looks great! I bought for a 10 gallon tank and it’s the exact fit so if you want more space around your tank, definitely size up. I have mine sitting on tile and was trying to figure out how to secure it to the wall (my husband wanted the screws in the studs) but after adjusting the bottom pieces, I think we’re going to skip it. We have it in a spot out of the way. My only complaint is the top shelf being 2 pieces instead of one. This makes no sense to me and doesn’t look good, so the review lost a star. I have a 55 gallon tank stand that has one solid piece. Maybe keep this in mind if you size up. You’ll probably want to find a cover. ... show more

I would have a picture of my 10gal on top of the stand, IF my 10gal didn't have a giant chip in it that I only noticed after fully setting up the stand 🫠 Regardless!! I did test the weight capacity for the top shelf and it does hold a full 10 gallons without any issues. This stand also comes with a wall anchoring kit (both brick and drywall versions) for extra stability. The instructions were easy to understand, assembly took maybe an hour for one person that didn't know what they were doing, all was well! I bought this stand for $35 (after tax) and honestly, I'm pretty happy with that price. Especially with the lower shelf allowing a secondary tank and a storage shelf for spare bits n bobs. Even if you're not into fishkeeping, this stand would work great for plenty of other things! It matches my desk (also bought on Amazon from a different seller) perfectly. If I ever get out of the hobby, I'll definitely be repurposing this stand :) ... show more

I was kind of skeptical about buying this product at first, but the price was decent, so I decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did! My 15-year-old son put it together by himself with no help and no complications at all. He’s definitely not the type who enjoys putting things together — he’d much rather be on his video games or cellphone — so the fact that he assembled it so easily says a lot. Once we put the fish tank on it, everything fit perfectly and looked great. Please excuse my cloudy fish tank, I’m still working on that! This fits my 6.8g shallow aquarium perfectly on the top, feels pretty secure with the adjustable feet, and the lower shelf holds a 2.5 g hospital tank easily. The middle shelf is a nice catch all for fish equipment and food.
