This was one of the most modestly priced bed rails I saw, and it absolutely is sturdy enough to keep someone from rolling off the edge of the bed. I really like that can be taken out of the bed very easily as well. You just lift up the mattress and put it underneath to insert it . With the weight of my mattress, it takes two people to do this, but I’m sure a stronger person could do it by themselves. I’m using this for a child that rolls off the bed while sleeping . This is a great asset for her because this gives her the confidence to lay on the bed at night and not feel like she’s going to fall. I felt like this was very well-made, and I wouldn’t change anything other than the pouch that accompanies it. I really think they need to revamp it quite a bit for one thing the pouch is accessed from the opposite side of the bed, which does not make sense if the person using the rail wants to put something such as a phone, a TV remote or intercom in the pouch, they have to put their hand around the opposite side to get to it. While this angle may look good in a photograph it’s simply not practical. The pouch also does not secure very well. It has two small metal pieces that go into razor size slots on either side and it could easily come out. The whole thing needs to be redesigned for the person that’s laying in the bed and not the person who is standing over the bed. Other than that this is a very good set up.

I am currently 7.5 months pregnant, I find the more round I become the harder it is to get out of bed. I ordered this in hopes it would give me that extra little oompfh I need to get my feet on the floor. Instructions were simple and it took less than 3 minutes to assemble and put under my mattress. It is considerably sturdy and I feel safe hanging on to it, doesnt feel like it will slide at all. It has worked perfectly for me to get up without pulling a muscle! It is very discreet too as it's not terribly bulky or tall, which I appreciate.

We just put it on the bed today. It seems sturdy and was not difficult to put together. However, the reason we chose this one was because it claimed that it could be raised to 25". However, on the tallest setting, the very top of the bar is only 20.5". This is a disappointment. Hopefully, this will not be too big a problem.

Nicely made and it's very sturdy! I found no rough edges on the white, metal tubes and they assemble in the corresponding tubes smoothly. The part of the tube that fits inside is capped with plastic allowing for smooth and easy assembly. I like the black pocket that can be attached to the side of the support. It can hold the phone, a portable light, TV remote control, glasses, etc. This support has an end that tucks deep under the mattress and includes a strap to help ensure it stays in place. The height is easily adjusted by pressing the gold-colored buttons to they secure in place. It a great support if you need a little help getting and out of bed.
