Love it. This will go right through those ice walls that our county plows leave at the end of the driveway. Throws the snow far away enough to keep it from blowing back at you. Only issue is if you need to maneuver close to cars or other damageable stuff as it is tricky to steer precisely.

Here is the nightmare. You buy a snowblower during the summer. You unpack it, and put it in the shed. You pull it out in Nov. and it takes 15 minutes to get it started. Mind you, it has yet to be used on snow. It has only been powered up once to move into the shed. Now we are barely able to get it started and when we do, we need to keep the choke pulled half way out to keep it running. A brand new expensive piece of equipment should not do that. And my old honda snowblower never failed to start on the first or second pull. Clearly past performance does not predict future performance. Think twice about buying any of this online.

Not the greatest crating job, Mine Came all broken up. The plastic panel where all the levers come through had a big crack in it. Not enough to affect operation.

For a $3200 (plus tax) snowblower, the Forward-Reverse Control is FLIMSY, soft wired. It protrudes under the “dashboard” and is easily bumped, causing it to bend, preventing shifting to Neutral or Forward, as both are a “push” function from Reverse. I got it as a Xmas gift. Nearly 25” of snow. Can’t blow off our 50’ x 100’ raised deck. Imagine the load weight. Sold the $750 Cub Cadet to help pay for the useless, poorly designed blower. Should be hard linkage, not a flimsy wire. Honda needs a recall of this and linkage installed by nearest dealer (or at least supply parts to owners with installation instructions). Starts great. Auger adj great. Throws snow a mile. Tracks NO GOOD ON ICE. Get wheels/tires & chains. Who has hands big enough to engage the drive AND turn left. NOT EVEN KING KONG. Another REAL BAD DESIGN FLAW. If/when I get Fwd-Rev fixed, we’ll be selling used for a huge loss. NO HONDA TECH SUPPORT, PHONE OR ONLINE. Terrible choice. We blew it with this purchase.

This blower is not for someone who can't handle a blower on the larger side. It's a great blower, moves an amazing amount of snow an amazing distance in short order. It's a bit on the big side for a typical driveway in the city but if you have a bigger than normal driveway, or live in an area that gets major snow dumps, this is the machine for you!
