Don’t follow the directions enclosed. They state VERY CLEARLY to REMOVE the little plastic cover on the chair hydraulic cylinder, which I did & threw away. Then the chairs wouldn’t go up and down because it needs that plastic piece! Super frustrating. Leave the orange plastic piece in place and you’ll have beautiful functioning chairs.

•Customer service: 5/5 for checking and making sure I received the package safely. • Chairs: not comfortable to sit on for hours to study or do other stuff for long periods of time. • Assembly took about 15minutes/chair using only tools from package. • 2 Screws came out on two different chairs after 1month even though they were screwed very tightly by my cousin and husband. Average weight of people in the house ranges around 160-170 lbs to give you an idea. • BE CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE WHITE WALLS or avoid putting it on anywhere that could get color transfer stain. We accidentally stained our white couch with the grey transferring to it during assembly. It washed out easily though. Use anything else as leverage to avoid this. However, great for aesthetic and for eating meals. • Gold base elevates its quality and makes it look expensive! People always ask about them.

Very Pretty! I get ALOT Of Compliments. I have these in a Loft Of A Commercial Building I Own and only visit in the Summer Months. I don’t know if they are that practical for a full size kitchen and everyday use. The Size was Okay, especially for where I needed to place them. I expected them to be bigger, but that’s okay. The chairs themselves are great overall good quality and sturdy enough for the average weight. My issue is the fact I paid for new product but received a second hand repackaged item. Following the instructions it stated to take the caps off first before installing. Mine came with no caps which was the first sign something wasn’t quite right. I built the chair very simple to do however the mechanism to control the up and down movement would not work. The second chair worked fine. When i took the chair apart I noticed that the one not working looked different. (See photo) something black was wedged in the chair that stopped the lever from working the hydrolics. It was clear that this should be not there so i had to cut the item out. Surprise it was one of the caps that it stated to take off so obviously someone before me did not read the instructions, got the cap wedged and returned to the seller who then repackaged and sent to me!!! Very disappointed in this practice as open box should be sold as open box. An explanation would be nice as I assume the seller reads these reviews.
