The media could not be loaded. Overall, this is a great coffee pot. I'm not sure why but it seems to brew darker than other coffee pots I have owned in the past. Everything works as it should, set the timer and it brews great coffee right when it is set. I am not knocking any stars off of my review for these two 'issues' since neither is a deal breaker and honestly, more of a wish list for improvements. 1.) Pouring water into the housing is a bit awkward because the top of the housing doesn't open further than vertical. Because the inlet for the water is way in the back, it's a bit of a pain to pour all of the water in because the pot will hit the top of the housing. 2.) I'd love to see a dedicated button you can push to just re-enable the timer for the next day. Currently, you have to push the program button three times to get the timer to reset. This seems a bit contrived to me if you don't actually need to change the timer. This is a great coffee pot though so don't hesitate to buy it if you are in need of a programmable coffee pot. *** Update 04/07/2023 *** Unfortunately, I feel the need to knock this coffee maker down from 5-stars to 4 at this point. I thought I was losing my mind since about half the time, at night, when I would get the coffee pot setup with water and coffee so it would automatically brew in the morning, the coffee pot would turn itself on during that process. At first, I thought I was just brushing up against the button but today, when it happened again, I spent some time with it. As you can see in my short video, there is some type of electrical short or something going on inside the coffee pot where you 'load' coffee which causes the unit to turn on. In the video, I activate it with my finger but in my experience, it is quite often activated when you close the lid, which evidently puts enough pressure somewhere to trigger it and immediately start brewing coffee. I still like this coffee pot but at this point I am just hoping it is not a fire hazard. *** Update 04/07/2023 *** Although I still cannot bring myself to downgrade my rating to 3-stars simply because this coffee maker does work and it still delivers delicious coffee to me each morning, I figured I would point out one more area of frustration with this thing. The clock loses about a minute per week, meaning that once you set it for say 0500, a month later it will not start brewing until 0504 unless you adjust the time again; obviously, if you look at the display each week you can see it has lost a minute. Not a deal breaker but it can be a bit frustrating.

Like every new coffee pot, it will take a little bit of time to get used to, figuring out setting the clock, timer and brew strength. I guess the days of a single on/off switch are gone. This is a nice replacement coffee maker. Mine seem to last about 6-8 years of daily use, and die. Of course the one you had mastered using they don't make any more. It is stainless steel, or stainless look with a single dial and two buttons on the front. Inside the top is a removable basket, removable, reusable filter and they even give you a little spoon. 10 cup carafe is provided to collect the brewed coffee. Standard two prong plug. I personally prefer a paper filter, so believe this is a #4 cone filter. I had a big stash from a previous coffee maker that used them. Everyone has their preference, the reusable one just seems to let too much "coffee dust" through, end up with that stuff in the last cup. Only minor thing is that I don't understand the numbers on the side. Starts are 5 and goes up to 15, but makes 10 cups. I always make a full pot, so that is not really important to me (and I use the carafe to put the water into the maker), so more a strange mystery to me than an issue. Really nice coffee maker, looks good, brews coffee well, just want I needed.
