I purchase this as my old bed of a few years was starting to give me a lot of trouble. My old bed had slats that were very thin and we’re constantly slide off making my mattress fall. I found this bed on Amazon. And what made me want to buy it was the look of the sturdy slats after assembling the bed I can tell you that this is a very sturdy piece of furniture. The slats, and the Velcro are amazing. The headboard itself is made out of some type of a corduroy material, but it’s very cute. If you’re looking for a very sturdy inexpensive bed frame, this is definitely the one to go for assembly was pretty simple. I would describe the fabric more like a corduroy than velvet but I do like the bed. Wasn't too bad to assemble. I bought 2 and I'm considering buying another. UPDATE: I bought another- These are nice. fairly easy to assemble

    • This bed sets low
It went together relatively easy.. The big thing I think people should know about this is that it sets low to the ground. We went with just the mattress no box springs which you can do with this. And it was a thick 14 in mattress I might add. But it still sets too low. You're having to drop down into the bed. The only thing we can do now is get some sort of leg extensions which I know you could purchase. Most of my see though don't look aesthetically all that great but these are things to take into consideration ... show more

Took a little risk with buying this because it didn't have many reviews. But overall very happy with the purchase. Pretty easy to install. Would definitely got faster with 2 sets of hands. One of the metal parts was bent but that could 100% be shipping. It was easy to bend back into place and assemble without issue. I would definitely put some kind of loctite on the bolts. After 2 days the bed was starting to creak so I put loctite on the threads and tighted the bolts. Hasn't creaked since. ... show more

Took a chance on it with no review photos when I purchased but glad I did! The material seems easy to clean, it’s sturdy when built right, and the pocket fits my OLED Nintendo Switch perfectly! Took me a few hours to build because my achy joints needed breaks but I was done by lunch time. A young person could easily do it in an hour or two. A tip would be to go around and re-tighten all screws before starting the last slats and that will keep it secure. Gave it a shake and jump test and passed with flying colors. I’d say the price was worth it since it’s sturdy. It’s not as high end as I wished but I also didn’t pay high end prices (lol). ... show more
