  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Some assembly required, but works awesome so far!
Several others had remarked that it was too much work to assemble. But, the instructions are clear and accurate, and only requires a screwdriver, pliers, an adjustable wrench, and 15 minutes to assemble. As for operation, I have only tested it with water but the broadcast jet on the back provides a steady 4' wide application, and the adjustable wand works as expected. As an added bonus, the tires are solid foam/rubber so no need to air them up and should last a long while.. It's definitely a step up from the small 2 gallon hand pump unit that I've have been using for years. The only issue to mention is the tongue bar insert. The square tubing was slightly misshapen from the assembly process of punching a hole for the lock pin to go through. This made it impossible to insert, but with a little hammer and punch to knock the indentation back out, it fits fine now. This is the only reason for knocking off one star. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Great but pump does last.
I love the sprayer. The original pump lasted less than 2 years. That was a disappointment. Replacement is about 30 bucks on Amazon.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Worked great the first year
Original review: I bought it a month or so ago & have used it twice spot spraying around the fields. It uses up a lot more than my backpack sprayer, but that's a small price to pay for being able to sit. I had a little trouble with the wires & hose getting run over by the rear tire. I found it's best to route them through the velcro straps on the front of the sprayer & then hook them with a couple of zip ties to a hook on the rear fender of my mower to keep them up out of the way. I just put one zip tie on each tight & another in a loop through those, so now I just hang them & go. The directions say to fill with 1 gallon of RV antifreeze after use to lubricate/protect the pump & wand from freezing. It actually takes 1/3 - 1/2 gallon & after reading how the pump froze after prolonged storage on one reviewer, I've done it. It's a little pricey to do each time, but not bad a couple of times per year. The hardware store carries the RV antifreeze so it's easy to buy. I think it was $10/gallon, but the pricing on it varies widely. Not sure why. Update: I was very careful to follow the directions for storing this & the pump still seized up by the following year. Called customer service & they suggested force priming it which worked. It's now running fine. Support is in the US, quick to answer, & was very helpful. (Force priming means connecting a hose to the pump's input & turning it on with the pump running & the trigger of the wand depressed.) ... show more

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars Design flaws?
Like it when it works. Pressure is good. Perhaps 2 design flaws? 1) The wheels tend to get stuck to the body of the tank and doesn't move easily. 2) The water inlet to the pump defies gravity. It goes up. You wouldn't think it's an issue, but, it is because any pump requires priming before it'll work. With the hose going up, there's no water to prime the pump. Per order details - purchased May 2021. I think the pump is dead by Summer 2022. Probably used it twice in 2021 (City ordinance doesn't allow spraying more than twice a year). $100 / use -> probably cost the same as hiring professionals. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Works great, but assembly instructions aren't the best
I've used it a couple times now and it's working great. I have 2 acres, some of which needs large patches done. This has made that so much easier. I just pull it behind my little turtle mower and it really does a great job. One caveat. It comes completely disassembled. I mean COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLED. And the instructions aren't the best. It is pictures only, no words. Sometimes it's hard to decipher what the picture is trying to tell you to do. Took me about an hour and a half to get it all together ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Good but like most China made doesn’t hold up
I’ve had for 2 + years now. Easy assembly. Works as advertised. This summer replaced the pump. Was blowing fuses. Likely some corrosion. $31 pump east to replace. My biggest gripe are the bolts that hold the tank to the frame/wheels. They pulled right out of the plastic anchors and won’t hold it anymore. It’s now held on by way of ratchet tie downs. Also the engineer who designed those same bolts to be directly under the axel should be fired. Have to remove the entire wheel assembly to retighten (although the bolts pulled right back out again.) ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Holds a lot of material
The sprayer sprays great, but it took a long time to put together. I would spend the extra money on a better one, but this works for what I need.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect
I'm very happy with the sprayer, with a small exception. Everything was pretty well thought out except the wiring, which they provided no provisions for nicely routing to the mower. The wires want to fall down into the tires, so I stuck a square zip tie attachment to the front of the tank and zip tied the wires away from the wheels. Then I zip tied a cup magnet near the switch to stick on the fender of my mower, and zip tied the excess wire into a bundle that sits under the seat. Total additional cost, $1.50. Overall spray quality is very good, I'd put it at more of a 4ft pattern. The broadcast sprayer nozzle seems slightly undersized and drips a bit, I tried centering it when screwing it into place and have it down to just a couple drips a second. I'll probably just add a gasket at some point. ... show more
