Description

We've journeyed beyond tradition to bring you power, speed and forgiveness in a single driver. The reconstructed SIM2 Max delivers high MOI with a heavy 24g tungsten weight positioned on the Inertia Generator. The TPS Front Weight is strategically located on the sole of the club to encourage optimal launch and spin properties, delivering a complete performance and max forgiveness. Building on the breakthrough performance of Shape In Motion, SIM2 features an all-new Inertia Generator formed by its 9-layer carbon sole. The lightweight panel is strategically angled to improve aerodynamics at the most critical phase of the swing for faster clubhead speeds. The milled back face cup works in unison with a new toe-side Speed Injection Port to push ball speeds to the threshold of the maximum legal limit. The iconic Speed Pocket protects performance on shots struck low on the face, while Twist Face continues to help golfers find more fairways.

Man, people weren't kidding about this being a great driver. I blind bought this because of how many people I had heard online and in person talk about how amazing this club is: Forgiving, good feel, very reasonable price. I was sold. Took this bad boy out to the range for the first time and I want to say I didn't hit a single bad drive. Coming hot off the heels of using a 15+ year old Cobra HS9 driver I got at a garage sale, this was like driving a Bentley after only knowing a 1992 Accord. This driver hits the ball extremely straight, far, and consistently. Huge sweet spot for those of us who tend to make a lot of contact with the edge of the club face. If you're looking to get a game improvement driver at a reasonable price, pick this one up and I don't think you'll regret it ... show more

To start off, I really love my SiM 2 Max driver. It is the best driver I have ever had! It has an enormous sweet spot, hits true and gives me great control on all types of shots. The only thing is that I purchased the SiM 2 Max on Sept. 5 2024 and it has a rattle inside the head. I haven't had it checked for integrity but I was a bit concerned it may have a problem. Again, I loved the club, but I was concerned about it over the long haul. As a note, I used my Burner driver for over a decade before I had numerous surgeries, sold it, thinking I'd never be able to play again. Anyway, I started playing again and headed straight for TaylorMade. P.S. TaylorMade sent me a new driver to replace the SiM 2 Max - a Q1 10!!! I nearly fell over when I opened the box. WOW! I've used only TaylorMade drivers and none other, here's why - TaylorMade is a company that stands 100% behind their products, makes exceptional drivers and woods and will make every effort to satisfy their customers. BTW I also purchased the TaylorMade SiM 2 Max 3 hybrid - the SiM 2 Max line is AMAZING for my game. Buy one and you'll see what I mean. ... show more

Outstanding driver. I am 55 years old and used a ping g430 for years, I wanted a new driver. i talked with people that play a lot of golf, they told me to check the driver out due to my swing speed is 95 mph. With the ping g430 I carry the ball about 250 to 260 (Titleist velocity), With the SIM2 driver, same ball I carry the ball about 275 to 285. Absolutely the straightest drives I ever had. Great club, although it’s a 2021 modal. I got it with the regular upgraded shaft. I’m 68 yrs old, getting 220yrds and fairly forgiving 🤣🤣🤣
