    • You could be successful with this one
This comes in a styrofoam cover, keep it in that cover or otherwise insulate it or it will be impossible. All my observations come from it left in the styrofoam. If you want cut little windows in one side in the styrofoam to let light in or look at what is going on. Out of the box it went up to 38 degrees centigrade. In the machine it was 98.7 degrees- they don't match up. So the thermometer is inaccurate- use another more accurate thermometer and don't depend on the built in one. It did hold the temp well however and that counts for alot. You can get chicks out of an incubator that once you get it to the right temp and holds it. Humidity is a YOU thing and not an incubator thing so I didn't check that out. It works great other than that you can't trust the built in thermometer...IN the styrofoam. For best results keep it in a room where the temp varies as little as possible. It is a decent cheap incubator. ... show more

I think the instructions should be easier to understand, and a step by step setup. Still can't find F1 that is talked about in the book. T pipe came with it still don't know what to do with it . have it up and running now hope I did it right . the instructions did not help at all.

I've hatched 3 times with a high hatch rate. Youtube for instructions and happy hatching. Sometimes the temp struggles. I put a heating pad under it and they hatched as expected. One hatch was at 💯 % rate.

This is my first time incubating so I bought this as a cheap option before deciding if I want to incubate again. It does not have a hygrometer which is a little disappointing, but doable I suppose. My main issue is when rotating it pushes all the eggs to one side of the incubator, so I've had to handle them to reset daily. We'll see if any of them are viable. ... show more

This incubator is HORRIBLE. It does not keep temp or humidity at all. Didn't even come with a humidity control. I purchased one separately. 10 plus times per day I was constantly checking the temperature and humidity and I always had to mess with it. It would shut the egg turner off randomly. 10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. I will be throwing this incubator out and ordering a better one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this for about 8 days now. This does make noise at all times. It reminds me of the roar of an air fryer. When you turn on a tv or anything else you really can’t hear it. This does rotate the eggs on a timer, I honestly can’t tell you how often it does turn. The candler doesn’t work that well, I’ve just been using my own flashlight to look at their progress. You receive a lot of accessories with this too for once you do have chickens. The instructions were completely useless. I just googled most of what I needed to do. It really is quite simple, you just turn it on and leave it. I do occasionally add some water to the bottom with the provided water bottle. The temperature does fluctuate, but it will automatically go back to the temperature you have set. ... show more

this incubator is worthless! Truley deserves zero stars! Can't reach operating temperature. There are no instructions included. Do not waste your money on this junk! Go to Tractor supply and get an excellent incubator from Harris Farms.
