We haven't used or small freezer yet. It's met to go in our Motorhome for more freezer space. So I can't answer your questions. But it's the perfect size and I like that you can open the door in both directions. And has a key to lock it up. The space looks perfect for the extra frozen meals. No more bringing out ice chest and buying dry ice at $80 that would only last 4 to 6 days. And my food became wasted. This freezer is perfect size and will fit what we can't get into our Fridge/Freezer in the motorhome. Worth the money. ... show more

The size of the freezer is ideal for a small family. It seems to keep everything well frozen. My only complaint is that it was damaged when I received it. There is a dent in the top right corner of the freezer. I received the wrong item the first time (Amazon FBA was mislabeled) I didn't feel like like going through the hassle of returning it so I kept it since the dent into really visible and the freezer is kept out of sight. ... show more

Loved this little freezer till 10 months after purchase and it started short cycling and blowing circuit breakers. I contacted the company and received no reply. So, I wasted my money and I won't buy their products again.

So far this freezer is working very well, and i followed directions to allow the refrigerant to settle before plugging in. I decided on this model, oddly enough, due to price. Approximate interior dimensions: top shelf: 12 X 12 X 6 bottom half-shelf: 7 X 12 X 6.5 Delivered faster than promised, but in black instead of depicted white (not a problem for me). Comes with warning to keep upright at all times, but it came packed super snug in box too tight to lift out. So I had to cut (destroy) the box to get it out. As noted by other reviewers, the back interior wiring area is open instead of being concealed behind a panel. Not a problem for me, but query could this be problematic if you have small inquisitive children? Comes with warning to leave it unplugged for 24 hours after removing from the box, so I can't yet confirm that it operates as expected. ... show more

    • Doesn't frost over as quickly as the first freezer I tried
I bought this so I can keep my freezer packs close to my bed. (I can't sleep without ice packs on my feet) I tried a 1.1 cu feet first and it didn't freeze well but built up ice on the inside within the first few days. I sent it back and tried this larger one which only freezes the best if the ice pack is laying on a surface of the freezer ie: top shelf in the back or on the bottom of the freezer. Have had it a little over a month and is just now needing defrosting. I wish it froze my ice packs better/faster. ... show more
