Have this lamp a few months now with no problem's at all. It's modern looking with a nice beige shade color. The diffuser helps soften the lights with no glare. Was well packaged and easy to install. Helped with a dark corner with no overhead light. I also bought (GE CYNC Smart LED Light Bulbs, Color Changing Lights). Now I have a great lamp with multi color light choice for ambience. We needed to replace the ancient swag light (from 1973) in my son’s room. He’s 15 and assembled/installed the light with minimal assistance. If the previous light’s hooks hadn’t broken and gotten stuck in the ceiling, he wouldn’t have needed help at all. He likes how it looks and I like the value.

We needed a ceiling fixture over our bed with an extra-long cord and this fits the bill well. It's not the most sturdy or fancy thing but it was up and providing great light in about 20 minutes (we'd had hooks installed earlier) since we weren't up for hardwiring a chandelier. The linen adds a nice touch and the diffuser is very helpful to not share at bulbs. It is very lightweight so it's hard to get it totally even, but again for the amount of light it provides and cost and ease of assembly, no regrets. I'm going to add some decorative trim or layers of fringe to jazz it up a bit. ... show more
