Style: Sun Hood with Lanyard
This is a great shade and device protector for the RC 2 Controller. It appears high quality as if it is a DJI product. The installation for both the shade/cover and lanyard are straight forward and it doesn not obscure any functionality on the controller. It is super convenient (and protective) to hang the controller around your neck and not have to install, or worry about, the joysticks or screen. I did also install a screen protector by Cynova (Amazon) but I suspect the one that you can bundle with this would be fine as well. Some reviewers complained that either the main cover or flip up extra shade wouldn't stay in place. I haven't found that to be the case and they supplied a special screw driver to tighten the hinges should it become necessary. Once you figure out the packing strategy, it fits well in the Mini 4 Pro bag with everything that comes in the combo package (drone, batteris, charger bank, cables, propellers, etc.). The only issue for some may be that if you want to mount the controller on a handlebar, most adapters for this want to occupy the same space on the bottom of the controller so if you want to do this, you will most likely need to remove this cover. It would be great if they built the bottom of this unit with a female threaded camera mount on the bottom. However, removing and replacing the cover is quick and easy.

Perfect fit. Works great. Didn’t come with instructions. Make sure to take the control sticks off the back holders of the remote before attempting to install the cover. I discovered that trying to put the cover on first. Other than that the install was easy. It shades the sun and protects the remote. It came with 3 glass screens protectors which was a plus. The screen protector was a little tricky getting it perfectly straight but it sealed to the glass with no bubbles once it was on correctly

This is a really nice kit from my initial impressions. The protective sun hood installs easily, works great and it still fits inside the Mini 5 Pro case with the protective Sun hood and strap installed. I’m 6’4” tall and the strap had to be extended all the way out for my comfort, but it would’ve been nice if it were a few inches longer. I haven’t installed the screen protector yet, but the rest of the kit looks very nice and I’m happy with my purchase. 10/6/25 Update I bought the Lykus Titan MM510 Waterproof Hard Case for the DJI Mini 5 Pro and RC 2. The RC 2 fits inside this hard case with the Arzroic RC 2 Protective Sun Hood Kit installed. It’s a bit of a tight fit, but it works and the strap/lanyard is tucked underneath.

This is a great combination set up. I love to have an extra strap to hold the remote when my hands are busy. The sunshade is a perfect addition to this kit. They protects the screen and keeps the joysticks in good shape. The screen protector which there are three seemed to be a bit just a little bit big and would not seal down on one corner of the screen. It could’ve been me and my alignment. I will try again later, but for now there’s one on and it works great. I think the value of this for the protection that it gives, including the next strap is a very good deal. I would recommend it.

The cover is a nice addon. It took 2 minutes to install and it fits perfect. Nice solid piece. I didn't install the screen protection glass yet but it came with cleaning supplies and the glass pieces are individually wrapped and protected. A small driver is included to tighten the 2 hinges if needed. This cover is a must, even if you don't need a sun shade, it will add protection for your screen and you won't need to remove the stick controls any longer .

I got this mainly for the protective sun hood and let me tell you it works great and makes a big difference when flying in bright conditions. Normally i use the drone while hiking on the morging so it significantly reduces glare on the screen, making it much easier to see the display and monitor the drone. The fit is good, it attaches securely, and the material feels sturdy enough to handle regular use. It’s also lightweight and doesn’t interfere with the controls or portability of the controller. Overall, a simple but very effective accessory. Definitely a 5-star product and highly recommended for anyone flying in sunny environments.

This is a well-made hard plastic shell and lanyard that fit my RC2 controller quite well, and offers convenience (for carrying), protection and shade. The screen protector in the bundle, despite my best efforts at affixing it carefully with pressure, developed a "bubble" in the bottom left corner of the screen. Fortunately the bubble does not seem to hamper visibility, and there seem to be two other protectors in the bundle, so if it eventually comes off I can try again. The shell was thin enough that it fits within a separate hard case with contoured foam that I purchased from a different vendor.
