  • Seriously, people. Get over it.
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Game of the Year
Good Lord, so many salty neckbeards writing excessively angry reviews about this not being a "twue" GotY, like technology and gaming never changes and you're some sort of high tech Mennonite who is okay with technology, but it has to stay exactly at a 2014 level. Yeah, the dlc isn't on the disc. We get it. Guess what, it's 2017, the game isn't on the damned disc, the disc is essentially just a download trigger and an authentication key, which, for the record, is exactly why they did it through this method, to prevent people just passing around one copy between a thousand people, downloading the dlc, and then using their original disc to run it. And it literally in no way hurts you. Yeah, it's a one time did download code, so what? Spoiler alert: it is possible to transfer a dlc license (the only caveat being that you can only do it once every 4 months), and if you're using the same account, you'll readily be able to redownload it even if you get a new console. I mean, seriously, even if you view it essentially as just buying a season pass, you're still buying that season pass for $15 off list. Hell, bung your old copy at a friend for a tenner, and now you just saved $25 of the season pass. I literally see people angrily saying that you should just buy the base game and season pass instead just to show Bethesda how very mad you are. Why. Why would you do that? I mean, even if you're annoyed that they didn't put the dlc right on the disc like they used to (which was a weird thing to assume they'd do anyway, the way game discs work now), why would you respond by intentionally paying more for the same thing. You're cutting off your nose to spite your face. Seriously, just get over it, y'all. It's still the same amazing freaking game, with all the add ons, for a steal. ... show more

  • The code was used for GOTY edition…
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Game of the Year
Everything was great until I tried to put the code in to add the add-ons just to see on the screen that the code has been used. What a scam.

  • Okey Dokey
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Game of the Year
I like that this has all dlcs included. It's a little bit tricky maybe to install the extras, but there are a lot of instructions online on how to do it. This was the second game I bought right after I got my Xbox Series X, but I didn't really play it until after I started watching the Prime series. I had played on PS4 several years ago, and I totally forgot how fun and immersive it is. Highly recommend if you want to get the Fallout experience before or after you watch the show. ... show more

  • Love the game not the glitches
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Game of the Year
Love the game but darn the glitches that show up. The big problem now is once you turn on the Xbox the screen says to plug the xbox into the tv. I have to eject the game and put it back it. Takes me to the game then i have to log in

  • Bought the G.O.T.Y edition, still had to purchase the dlc content
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Game of the Year
I am not grumbling about the quality of the game or its content, it's really stellar in terms of gameplay/ mechanics. My complaint is that when I installed the disc, my console did not recognize the dlc content as being on the disc. After a few YouTube video tutorials on how to retrieve such content which I followed thoroughly, the console still refused to recognize the content, which was supposed to be included. I had to then buy each dlc individually for a total that cost more than the disc itself! Is this an extortion racket being run by Bethesda and Microsoft? Because it sure feels that way. Update: My Xbox One finally crashed, and I bought a new one. When I re- installed this, I got the DLC, but for some weird reason, I couldn't get the furniture items such as beds, tables containers and chairs in my build menu. I even created 3 characters to test this, and all 3 couldn't get the furniture to load. Defective disc, imo ... show more
