I got this shade in black and it does good with keeping the light blocked. It was easy to install and came with all the parts we needed. We used a power drill which made it go quicker. The nylon material is study and easy to clean. Directions should were easy to follow.

So these really came in clutch because I have 56-in wide windows in my house. They truly give a lot of shade and they seem pretty durable. The fit was perfect but just be sure to measure your window beforehand and give yourself an inch or two on each side so it covers the whole window I never did it inside of the window molding I just did it on the outside so it may be a little bit of a different process if you do it inside the molding ... show more

Wish there was a hook or something to keep shade attached to door when drawn down but I used a magnetic clip to hold it from flapping when we open and close the door.
