Unlike similar lamps, the shade on this one does not get hot.
Color: Matte Black
This lamp is perfect for my roll-top desk. The base is heavy enough to allow me to extend the lamp fully out over the work area without the lamp tipping forward. The shade is vented so it does not get hot even when the lamp is on for long periods. The 40 watt bulb, which was included, is quite sufficient and fully illuminates the work area. I am completely satisfied with this product and recommend it highly. ... show more

Needed a small but bright light for reading music while playing. This fits the bill perfectly on my upright piano. T10 bulb was not included but I found one at home depot for cheap.

Lovely solid little lamp.

I do like this lamp, it was a little big for my roll top desk so I had to put it on top. It’s bright enough. Mine did come with a bulb. The base is heavy and would work in most cases but since it’s tipped so far forward I did feel the need to place some books on the cord to be sure it didn’t topple forward. Really a nice quality lamp. ... show more

Love this on my piano.
Color: Brushed Brass
Fits perfectly to provide good light over the sheet music. Easy to use and adjust. Felt bottom doesn't scratch my piano lid. I am glad I purchased it.

great light, don't forget to buy your own light bulb!
Color: Matte Black
This is a really great light. We use it on our piano to help the kids see the music. It's looks very nice and not cheap or chintzy. They say it does not come with lightbulbs, and yet I still forgot to buy the lightbulb separately so we had to wait and use it until a bulb came. So don't forget to buy the light bulb too! GREAT Lamp, I highly recommend this. ... show more
