I repeatedly read online that rosemary is hard to germinate so I sprinkled a bunch of these seeds in one pot in hopes I’d get a couple to grow. Well, these seeds exceeded my expectations exponentially bc SO MANY SPROUTED. After they got a big bigger, I transplanted each sprout into its own little pot to continue to grow… 32 seedlings in all! I didn't even follow the instructions on the back and they grew like crazy β€” only got a single packet and I have like almost TOO much basil now. I just sprinkled the seeds on the ground and kinda forgot about them for a few weeks until a bunch of sprouts randomly appeared. Amazing! I lived in a condo with stray cats that visited all of the time. The HOA president hated the cats and constantly fined me for petting them and giving them attention. She swore it was my fault that they were there. Other owners tried to stand up against her but she fined them too. It finally got so ridiculous I decided to leave. However, not before spending my last 4 months there planting cat nip all over the property. My friends that still live there say that the cats come every day and frolick around the property, rolling around and lounging in the cat nip areas. I received the package, and the packaging is not the same as online. First, it just says "Lavender", not English Lavender. The online instructions (you need to scan a code on the package) says they are English Munstead Lavender. I ordered a package of 1500 seeds. It doesn't say how many are included on the package. There are probably less than a teaspoon of seeds. I'm not going to try to count them, they are tiny, like flea size. The germination time is 14-60 days; bloom time is another two to four weeks. I don't know if it'll be past the blooming season by then. And while I appreciate the instructions that can be scanned, they recommend a process that can take 4-6 weeks of keeping them in a damp paper towel in the refrigerator before the germination time. The online instructions say to start sowing the seeds indoors about 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost. Hope the seeds last over the summer and winter. If I follow the instructions, I am much too late to grow them this year (it’s the second week of June). The last frost in central NC was months ago. I may need to wait 8-9 months before I can have a chance of growing them. ... show more
