1st, we bought a runner + an area rug of these. They arrived super tightly rolled. The husband re-rolled them tightly in the opposite direction + let them sit for a day. When unrolled they laid flat, but had a few lg wrinkles in each. As we walked on + used them the wrinkles started slowly disapating. It said they would do that on the instructions. I like these so much that I just ordered another runner. We checked out Walmart for equivalent sizes + found them pricey with few choices + sizes available. These are perfect, especially with their prices + good looks. They sure jazz up our carpeting + are absolutely beautiful. A wonderful purchase. 😎 I also want to let you know that the wrinkles in them were gone within about 3 days after placing + using them. These are a great "mood changer" for me. UPDATE:🌺 We now have 2 runners + 3 area rugs + they look gr8. I bought a pkg of 16 inexpensive 2"x 4" extra strong, made for holding area rugs in place on carpeting, Velcro strips here on Amazon. I think they may even be stuck forever, which is fine with me. ( I just bought 16 more strips). I use 6 Velcro strips on each rectangle area rug + 6 or 7 strips on the 2 runners. My robotic vac / mop is having problems getting up + off a corner area rug. I'm going to Velcro it better in more spots + hope it'll stop getting stuck on that corner rug. The 4 other, identical area rugs are tolerated well by the robot. I'm so pleased with all 5 of these purchased rugs. They add such a pleasant touch to our bland carpeting. Now that I have had this rug for about a month, I can give it 4 stars. Until recently, I was teetering on 3. Overall, it is a very nice rug - soft and classy looking, giving the upper landing in my classic 1920s home a bit more of a contemporary look. But when I initially received it, it was quite a challenge to get it to totally flatten out. The ends curled because it came rolled - which was understandable (I put heavy pieces of wood on both ends for about a week). But the center continued to 'lift' up -- so I tried stretching it, and holding it down with heavy boxes. That did the trick; it now lays quite flat - and is acceptable for me. Trust me, if I did not like the feel and pattern of this rug, this would have been way too much trouble and probably would have returned it. Also, I did not put any non-slip material under it because it is in an area that does not get much traffic. But because it has essentially 'no-backing', if it was any smaller I think it would tend to slide on my wood floor with traffic. It does move a little sometimes -- but, again, I think the size is what keeps it relatively in place -- which is fine for me. I bought a runner with the same backing at the same time as this order - but since it is in a high traffic area and is long and narrow, it slips all over the place. I tried all sorts of non-slip aids under it, with no success. I'll be trashing it, and buying one with a rubber backing. ... show more

I have bought these three times...when it’s on sale it’s a real bargain. Doesn't look cheap and easy to clean with a super shedder dog. Easy to flatten down and stay with carpet tape.really great and easy to clean. My dog has probably run 100 miles back and forth on theses carpets. I have had to replace them after a year and a half but if you don't have a crazy dog I am sure it will last you longer! I would like someone from the company to contact me because I just bought the fourth one of these. Clearly the carpet is damaged and the color is uneven. Amazon expects me to roll this back up and return it which is totally impossible. I’ve had it just for a few daysI would appreciate if someone from the company could contact me so I will continue to do business with them. Otherwise I will no longer buy this carpet. ... show more

I purchased the 6.5’ x 9.5’ rug. Not what I expected. Came rolled up battered and torn/ripped plastic (not boxed as it should have been), rolled out extremely wavy, super thin and off gassed a terrible chemical smell. I had to spend another $60 for a pad. I followed their instructions and rolled the opposite direction and let sit that way for 3-days to eliminate the waves. It’s Installed now and is still very wavy. I’m using on carpet and have it anchored on three sides. Tried to smooth out the waves to no avail. I’m very disappointed in how thin it is and really is pretty cheap. I’m being generous with 3 stars, more like 2-1/2 stars. Don’t let the pics fool you, it doesn’t lay flat, smells and is thin. Plan on spending more for a pad too. It’s too bad because how it’s represented I had my hopes up. You get what you pay for sometimes because price point for that size area rug will spend at least $150+ from other suppliers. I’m into it that much now and not happy. ... show more
