    • Perfect Design, Mediocre Execution.
First off, I love these chairs. They're very comfortable, and have great back support. I can sit upright very comfortably and the padding has a nice firmness. They look very nice (as long as you don't look super closely). And the fact that they are fold-able is a very nice bonus for the next time I need to move. But unfortunately, they are not particularly well made. You can tell they are mass produced and don't go through very strict quality control. They don't sit perfectly level when there is no weight on them (aka they wobble a tiny bit) but once there is any weight on them they level out, so they feel very sturdy while sitting. After a month or two one of the chairs developed a creak where the post at the bottom of the back rest connects to one side of the chair, and it's only been getting worse. At some point I'll probably have to drill a hole and sink another screw to make it stronger and stop the creaking. Also if you look at where two pieces of wood join there is usually a line of unfinished wood showing, probably due to a rushed finishing process. (Edit:) I've also just noticed that on the bottom of one of the feet there is a staple poking down. If you have wood floors, this scratches your floor permanently. Not happy to see this. Considering lowering to 3 stars but will leave it at 4 like my original review. At the end of the day, these chairs are very cheap. I suppose you get what you pay for. These chairs probably couldn't be produced for this low of a price if more work and quality control went into them. For the price, I would recommend them without a doubt. But they could be better. ... show more

The chair is well made and sturdy. It is a bit on the small side but serves thee purpose for some extra seating at my dining table that only has 8 chairs.

But they turned out to be attractive and comfortable enough to be in use as extra seating at a guest room desk chair and a nook in the dining room. They are easy to fold and not too heavy. I was pleasantly surprised to receive these folding chairs. I had not expected to get the quality, comfort and look. These chairs aren't like the folding chairs we're used to. They even compliment the existing theme of the rooms when utilized.
