Used a Philips head screwdriver. It was time consuming to put together. It can be done, just stick with it and follow directions in order. I like the look of it. The only thing that I don’t like that could have been better is the drawer bottoms. They are not very sturdy.

Disliked that I couldn't assembly the cabinet due to damage and missing parts. Do not buy, major part was missing, holes do not aligned up, was unable to complete the assembly of the cabinet due to the drawer railings was bend and the major part to the middle assembly was not included.

The first one I ordered came with a main piece broken in half. I didn't read the return policy before sending it back to Amazon (sidenote: contact seller directly if needing a replacement or a return). I had to pay a restocking fee. Nonetheless, a new one came in and it is really pretty and functional. Took my teenager and I about 3 hours to assemble. It's a great piece to serve as a color bar in my salon. ... show more

The quality leaves something to be desired. My wife wanted it because of the size- the dimensions were right for a need. So, we are told to make the wife happy, but I am critical. The overall quality is less than Ikea. Think China ghost city type construction. I changed the knobs to something of better quality. Instructions are sufficient, but if you are challenged in spatial reasoning it may cause some frustration. Complicated assembly with small screws, but it works. Take care for the pressed board material can be easily overtorqued. May we learn someday not to be a throw away society. ... show more

I ordered this sideboard to add some storage to our kitchen/dining area. It is a beautiful dusty light blue/grey color. It goes great with our dark grey table and oak kitchen cabinets. I love the design and knobs as they give a vintage aesthetic. I am pleased with the amount of the storage it offers with shelves and drawers. The height and width are perfect, I just wish it was a little longer to better fit our table size. I gave 4 stars because the quality could be better. The doors have a gap between them when closed and the drawers are a little difficult to close due to them being too high. Assembly also took 3+ hours and had tons of pieces and parts.
