I used this mount as a base for the Ring Doorbell Mount that has an adjustable angle and hood to protect the Ring Doorbell from the elements and reduce glare. The mount comes with 4-long screws that are the perfect length to reach through the Vinyl siding into the wood sheeting. With the 4-screws in place it’s very sturdy. I then attached the mount with the adjustable angle to this using 2-long screws I had that went through the mount, through the siding, and into the wood sheeting. Found this out of the blue and it was the perfect product to make for a nice clean install! It also keeps the camera at the proper angle when installed on siding. Glad this exists. Whoever made this, great work!
