I fit perfect and comfortable in it..Im 5'4 and I bought for my 6' son...he is going to use it and see how it goes...I'll update later on, but he thinks is comfortable enough

I get it, I only spent $200 on this recliner, but I had really hoped for more. A few years ago I bought a similar recliner with ottoman from Slumberland for $220 and of course it is "Faux Leather", but it is very comfortable! The problem with that was that with our smaller living room the ottoman was always in the way so we put it in storage. I thought this would benefit us as the retractable footrest would replace the ottoman. Footrest actually works well, but when in the "stowed" position the footrest looks "trapezoidal". Very poor quality control. The swivel is on a plastic rim so I wonder how long that will last. Seat and backrest is very hard and when reclining faux leather makes a squeaking noise. The only reason I will not return it is because I do not want to spend money to ship it back and a restocking fee. I will NEVER buy another piece of furniture without going to a store to be able to "test drive" it. Amazon and on line sellers are a great part of our economy but the more we forgo the local brick and mortar stores we will loose a very important tool in buying products that we won't have to "settle" for. Would DEFINATELY NOT buy again.

I absolutely LOVED this when I FIRST received it. Here's my "2 years later" review: I WFH and this recliner is being used as my office chair. I have back and hip issues and the reclining feature is critical for me. After a few months of owning it, both of the recliner footrest's pressure springs fell off - mind you these are HEAVY and very TIGHT springs. My husband has flipped the chair over and put the springs back on various times - they keep falling off. This requires that I slip my foot under the footrest and lift it up myself as the spring-out handle no longer pops it out automagically. We got tired of having to put the springs back on so... I stored the springs in a drawer and use it as-is, unfortunately, I have a tiny ottoman under my desk now, since I can no longer use the footrest in its current condition. I'm not certain if the spring-up footrest came damaged from factory or if this is normal for this chair's life expectancy, however, the spring-up footrest has a leather flap which allows it to limitedly extend and retract from the chair itself. When closing the spring-up footrest (pushing backwards on my heels to close) the pleather flap gets caught in the mechanism and over time has ripped through the flap making a large hole. I notice the chair now has a sway and I'm afraid It'll fall apart under me. I think it's time to buy another chair as this one's screws are coming loose all over and the chair has started to sway a bit. I would have happily replaced with the same recliner but I'm not sure I want these issues again in another 2 years. If you're considering purchasing, I hope you read before buying to help you make an informed decision.

I was surprised at how quickly the chair arrived after I ordered it. Arrived after 2 days but was promised in 5. Under promise over deliver? The box was badly mangled. I was concerned that the chair might have sustained damage but it was very well packaged and the chair has no visible damage at all. Assembly was super easy. I don't know how anyone messed up the arms. There's literaly a sticker on the arms to identify right from left. How anyone then installed the arms backwards is beyond me. Seems really obvious to me. The fake leather looks nice enough and is comfortable. We chose the blue and it looks pretty good. Actually, the chair really looks good in our living room - it looks better than a $230 chair. But then when you sit on it you might realize that it is in fact a lower end chair. Maybe. I find it very comfortable. I am 5'10" and 170lbs, this chair works really well for me. This is a smaller chair so I don't recommend it for anyone over 200 lbs, especially if you have a wide backside. Others have complained that there is insufficient padding. I have a skinny backside and I find the padding to be more than adequate. I have never understood how people with substantially well padded backsides find chairs too hard. I don't think the leg rest will hold up larger legs and I don't believe that the chair will survive long under too much weight. If you have mobility issues you may not be able to get up out of the chair either. It does sit lower. My only complaint is that the swivel feels really cheap. REALLY CHEAP. It is not smooth at all. Ultimately I am happy with the chair. It satisfies the need we had for a smaller chair that swivelled. It looks good. And the chair is well priced for what you get.

First let's start with assembly. The instructions are all pictures without many written instructions. They are vague as to what to do first, second, third, ect. Once the chair is assembled, it is not very sturdy. The arms sit lower than I expected and are not at a comfortable height. The leg rest is weak and does not stay up very well with the weight of my legs resting on it. The chair sits low to the ground and that makes it difficult to get out of. And is not comfortable to sit in. My last concern is that the part that makes it swivel is made of plastic and will not last long. The chair not for a person who is taller than 5'10' or weighs more than 170 pounds. It is not worth more than $200 I paid for it.

Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect size. Reclines nicely. Nice footrest. Nice price. Only slight pain was assembling -- in 2 places. Need 2 people to do this. Be sure to turn chair on its sides at those 2 pain spots. But once done, I was very pleased. Well worth the price.
