Bought two of these chairs and was able to put them together by myself. A little advice don’t tighten the back of the chair screws just get them a little started until you have the arm rests on so you can maneuver the armrests in. Also I found if your doing it alone to turn the chai on its side and face the bottom of the chair Holding it in place with your legs.to get the holes to align for the chair back . Assembly was not hard and I unpacked pieces from box and assembled inside RV. Bought some tie downs for traveling, but able to unhook and move around to watch a TV on occasion which is placed above our windshield. I'm a 73 year old woman and I put this together myself. I thought the directions were pretty useless and unclear. However now that I've done one it won't be a problem to do the next. Which I will be doing because I really like it. Perfect for our RV. Able to swivel and look out our window at the bay. Would have been more stars but directions were hard and chair is a bit stiff. The recliner is definately not for larger people, and did have a weight limit on it which is accurate. They are beautiful chairs (I got two) and appear to be well made. They are very comfortable and everyone who sits in one doesn't want to get out. Took 1 3/4 hours to put the two together and it took two people to assemble, but the simple instructions were accurate. I am a big guy and found this to have issues if you are a big person. I am a physilly fir big guy and believe that those who are not may have stronger issues with it, After serveral uses it rattles to get you to re tighten to screws. On a smooth surface it will move and make it harder to get out of it. The leg rest tends to lose it's hold after several uses. I believe it to be pricy for the quality. ... show more

I was surprised at how quickly the chair arrived after I ordered it. Arrived after 2 days but was promised in 5. Under promise over deliver? The box was badly mangled. I was concerned that the chair might have sustained damage but it was very well packaged and the chair has no visible damage at all. Assembly was super easy. I don't know how anyone messed up the arms. There's literaly a sticker on the arms to identify right from left. How anyone then installed the arms backwards is beyond me. Seems really obvious to me. The fake leather looks nice enough and is comfortable. We chose the blue and it looks pretty good. Actually, the chair really looks good in our living room - it looks better than a $230 chair. But then when you sit on it you might realize that it is in fact a lower end chair. Maybe. I find it very comfortable. I am 5'10" and 170lbs, this chair works really well for me. This is a smaller chair so I don't recommend it for anyone over 200 lbs, especially if you have a wide backside. Others have complained that there is insufficient padding. I have a skinny backside and I find the padding to be more than adequate. I have never understood how people with substantially well padded backsides find chairs too hard. I don't think the leg rest will hold up larger legs and I don't believe that the chair will survive long under too much weight. If you have mobility issues you may not be able to get up out of the chair either. It does sit lower. My only complaint is that the swivel feels really cheap. REALLY CHEAP. It is not smooth at all. Ultimately I am happy with the chair. It satisfies the need we had for a smaller chair that swivelled. It looks good. And the chair is well priced for what you get. ... show more
