I received this today, lugged it into the house myself (a disabled female veteran) and after I finished work and homework with the kiddos, started building. I will say, the directions are a hot mess. Some parts were mislabeled, some parts of the directions needed a magnifying glass to see clearly (and I wear contacts with a current prescription.) I've assembled a lot of furniture over the years, this one was vexing but not the worst. Took me a few hours to put it together with my roommate coming out to help me stack the bottom part on the top part. How to fix the assembly issues- maybe put "ceiling side/floor side/right side/left side" directional on the parts, label the correctly (1 vs 2 are different parts). Overall, I like how it looks, it feels pretty sturdy and it will contain all the kids' art/school supplies, which I wanted. ... show more

This is a very nice cabinet. Came well packed in 2 boxes. Holds quite a bit of stuff and some of the shelves are adjustable. It takes a few hours to put together if you are by yourself. It did come with some cracks, scratches on the paint that might have been that way when put in box, because it is well packed. None that are that obvious, but if you look at it enough you will notice them . Overall it is a good cabinet and I would buy again if I needed another one. ... show more

First time review for a bad product. Very unhappy. Unit is flimsy. Doors don’t align. I’ve been a faithful IKEA DIYer for years. Did an entire kitchen DIY. This is just bad. Seams don’t align. No “pay attention” to this or that. Took three evenings of trial and error just to get it close. Still not satisfied. Had to accept “it’s as good as it get”. Buyer beware! ... show more

I'm pretty methodical in my approach as I've assembled stuff before. I made sure I had all the pieces & all the hardware... got all my duckies in a row. It went together pretty well...until adding the last top piece that goes on before you attach the doors. I encountered some pieces with holes too big for the screw or the dowel. The diagram was not helpful. There are several pages worth of diagrams (no words), & some diagrams are better than others. I highly recommend readers to better view. I worked alone on this thing, so it was very time consuming. It took me a few hours to do all of the locking screw things, a gazillion of these other things, little tiny screw for this, more little tiny screws for that, little plastic "do-hickies" to fasten the cardboard back to cabinet... it just went on and on. Some of the locking screw receivers kept coming loose. I used a drill gun for most of the work. Overall, it's functional, it looks ok, and it will serve a purpose in terms of storage... BUT it is not as deep as I thought it would be. It says 16" but that has be an outside measurement. It's not horrible, but definitely not my favorite project. I'd give it 3.5 stars. ... show more

My son put this together himself but said he could see where 2 people would be easier. Its well made, everything fit as it should. We had no problem moving it from where he put it together to the kitchen. He used a dolly and someone helped. He also used the attachments for the wall. We cleaned up a lot of counter space, which was the reason for the purchase. More like a galley kitchen with not enough cabinets. I'm very pleased with it. I hired through Amazon for assembly so I can’t say if it’s easy to put together or not. But I love this cabinet! It allowed for me to put all the dog and kitty cats food, treats and supplies in one location. It did have a little odor at the beginning but went away within a few days.
