The media could not be loaded. To be honest I don’t need it for the heating function because that’s not a problem where I live, I was wanting it more for ambiance for the bedroom. It’s beautiful, the perfect size for my bedroom and I love it. You can adjust the brightness of the fire, you can adjust the temperature of the heat, or just not have the heat on at all like me, you can set a timer to it so it can shut off after you fall asleep, and it’s easy to assemble. It took me more time finding the instructions than it did to put it together. *NOTE. This comes in 3 boxes (2 boxes inside of a bigger box) and the instructions are inside the bigger outer box. It’s exactly what I wanted and I’m very happy, especially with the price.

I bought this to try and save on heating this winter, and wanted it to look nice as well. It’s even better looking than I thought it would be and it heats up fast! After reading some reviews, I was worried about the installation but it only took me about 45 minutes. I STRONGLY suggest you get a flexible drill shaft to install the screws on the very last step. Luckily I already had one, and it worked perfectly! I can’t stress how much time it saved me. The space is too narrow to rotate a screwdriver, and too deep to fit a drill. I think that’s the part everybody is having trouble with? I am very happy with this and can’t wait to fall asleep next to a warm “fire” tonight!

I feel the price and quality are a fair deal for this little heater. Pay attention to the description. It IS small. But small is what I wanted for the space. Everything seems to work beautifully and the item came packaged well, but I was a bit disappointed that mine came damaged. However, not enough to send it back. I caulked the gap and will fill in the chips with wood filler and touch up with some paint. I highly recommend using wood glue upon assembly to hold it all together snugly.

We have a sun porch that gets really cold in winter, like freezing cold since it’s not connected to any of the heating/cooling ducts. We were wanting to turn it into a sitting room so we’d have a bit more living area, and this little fireplace is perfect!! It heats the entire porch so well and we don’t even have to turn it up all the way. The room is on the smaller side, 12x8. The vents at the top do get really hot when the heat is running and we were worried about our son getting burnt if he touched it, but so far he has stayed away. The remote is a nice touch too! I think the flame looks the most realistic on the lowest setting, but there are 3 different levels. You also have the option of the flame with no heat so if you just want it for effect, that’s possible. Money well spent.

First thing I noticed is that the shipping box did not look big enough. After opening, I realized why. Be prepared for a LOT of assembly. I could not believe for 240 bucks I had to assemble this thing. Honestly, it would have to be cheaper to glue the thing together at the factory vs shipping all the "wood" and hundreds of pieces of hardware and styrofoam and bags and bubble wrap. The wood finish is awful. You would have to go out of your way to do this poor of a job. It's covered in blobs of finish in some spots and none in others. Also, it is NOT the heater in picture. I've seen kids create a more realistic fire with a cardboard box and construction paper. The assembly instructions are in the back of the book/manual for those that said there were none. They are actually pretty detailed. But, just like the rest of this heap, the screws don't screw in or they screw in crooked or strip out. Again, I can't believe I have to assemble a $240 "glorified" space heater. The best surprise of all is when you get to the end. You finally have the thing assembled and are instructed to "slide" the space heater into the cabinet and screw it in. The wood screw holes are NOT predrilled and oh by the way, there is no way to slide your arm between the cabinet and the heater to actually screw anything together. Now on to functionality. There are no discernable buttons on the heater (again, unlike the pictured control panel). You can just start pushing in the general area of the keypad to try to turn it on. Then use the remote, you say. With the remote, it is simple to turn on, but after the that, the remote is not intuitive whatsoever. Even after clicking the Power button on, you have to push the "Heater" button too to get any heat from it. The beeping and clunking while changing the settings is loud enough for your neighbors to hear you adjusting your little heater. Not impressed or happy with this purchase at all and at this price, I feel completely duped as it is clearly not the heater in the picture.

We live in an apartment with a gas fireplace that doesn’t put out much heat, times out after running for 10 minutes, and makes our entire home smell like propane. It’s worthless. We really wanted a working fireplace so I got this one for my family and it’s perfect. It runs continuously, heats up the entire living room, and doesn’t cause power surges like other space heaters we’ve used in the past. The flames are so cozy and pretty. Best investment I’ve made in ages!
